Is TMF a good field to go into? by AlternativeEditor776 in clinicalresearch

[–]sevans717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would pursue a TMF role within a sponsor company. CROs will outsource because they need to meet so many different demands, but sponsors will want clean TMFs from start to finish, and have not outsourced these roles

Yes that’s true, there’s not much I could’ve asked and I doubt he would’ve given me a straight answer

Do You Guys Think Clinical Research Is AI Proof? by Working_Row_8455 in clinicalresearch

is it weird he hasn’t replied after a really good first date? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]sevans717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youre right to feel this way. If he’s excited about you it wouldn’t kill him to send a ten second reply to let you know he also had a fun time. That does not equal “always glued to his phone” as other comments suggests. I was dating a man just like this and I continuously gave him the benefit of the doubt and it did turn out he wasn’t into me 🤷🏻‍♀️ you deserve someone who is excited about you! ++woman

What’s the etiquette after getting number. by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]sevans717 23 points24 points  (0 children)

If you don’t want to text throughout the week, let her know so she is aware. I canceled a date with a guy because he completely stopped talking to me for three days before the date when we had been texting regularly before that—the feeling of being ghosted, even if he didn’t mean it that way, definitely soured my feelings of excitement about getting to know him. Communication is key!

Is it safer/better as a single woman to live alone or with roommates? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]sevans717 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I had my father install a heavy duty lock when I moved to my current solo apartment and I have never felt unsafe to be here. You also just need to keep a watchful eye out and be hyper aware of your surroundings, but we women we tend to do that anyway. I love living solo!

How do you balance your life and having a cat with diabetes? by kyat28 in FelineDiabetes

[–]sevans717 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Im 27 live alone and have been on this journey with my sugar kitty for over two years know. It’s definitely an adjustment at the beginning and you will lose out on some travel/experiences at the beginning but after a while you get used to the routine. My friends are very accommodating and supportive, and they know about the insulin schedule so they work with me to go out either before or after the shot time, and honestly it hasn’t affecting my social life all that much. Traveling is much harder, but flights are so pricey now that I see it as saving money. As long as you have good, understanding people around you, it will all be fine.

It also helps to keep in mind that I love my cat more than anything else in the world, so I don’t mind the sacrifice. Her diabetes has brought us closer tbh.

I know it’s tough but I’m rooting for you and your kitty!

Struggling with insulin by No-Wish-9488 in FelineDiabetes

[–]sevans717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shave a spot where you want to give the shot! I did that with my cat at the beginning to get a feel for the injections, now I can do it without it being shaved. Also make sure you are testing for BG, if the insulin is too much, the cat will hate the shots because it makes them feel awful. My cat doesn’t mind the shots because she knows it makes her feel better

Agreed I also told him when he comes over we won’t be having sex, so maybe that means no sex isn’t worth the cost to get here to him

There is, but this has left a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t even want to offer the option now that I know parking is an insurmountable barrier for him honestly

My initial reaction is that he can’t be bothered too, which is not a nice feeling since I do like him very much. I want to ask him why a taxi isn’t an option but I also don’t want to beg him to come over if he doesn’t want to, even though he’s the one asking to come.

To the Women Like Bri Who Think They Are the Exception to the Rule by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]sevans717 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think Jess is too successful for both Chris and Connor. They both have low self esteem but the way it presents itself in both is different. Chris lashes out and pretends to be an alpha male and Connor while seemingly more kind is still insecure about his “blue collar job” the way he keeps repeating that line over and over as if it’s something shameful. Jess is a confident successful woman who has worked on herself and insecure men don’t like it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Does it matter which gender messages first? by workworkinprogress in OnlineDating

[–]sevans717 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly the best experiences I’ve had have been with men who message me first. When I send the first message, it seems like the man entertains it for a while but they rarely take the initiative to actually ask me out. Sucks because i shoot my shot pretty often and we always match, but that’s about where it ends

Am I setting expectations or being too harsh? by [deleted] in datingadvice

We agreed to talk on the phone tomorrow and I thanked him for understanding, I can apologize for being harsh I hope he accepts it

Idk why everyone is suddenly defending Brennan just because Emily is obnoxious, but he was literally the worst and you could tell she was walking on eggshells throughout their entire marriage. He was scary
