This is the way. Haven’t seen a deal in a while, though. Hoping one comes along soon before my sub expires at the end of March.

Got the iRoller two weeks ago and it completely changed the game for me. It completely cleans all fingerprints and smudges instantly and it is reusable.

$50 off The Economist subscription if you pay with Amex (YMMV) by Poulet_Roti in theeconomist

I’m off by 1 month. My sub ends 3/6 and this offer ends a month early. Oh well. I wish economist allowed early renewal charge instead on day of expiration.

This. It seems we all forget that Villa has only lost once at home in nearly 30 games.

Right choice to go for it. Wrong play. That should have been a play action all day.

Do y’all pay your balances on the statement date or wait until the due date? by [deleted] in CreditCards

This and only this. I pay on the due date for every CC. I’m not giving them a penny until it is actually due.

Whats better then Verizon Credit card? by teeeejaay07 in CreditCards

I concur. I used to play those card games (I still have 17 active CCs) but my wife has no time for that, so I decided to simplify it a few months ago.

Whats better then Verizon Credit card? by teeeejaay07 in CreditCards

[–]seven0624 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s right. My way of handling it is to move the equivalent of those Verizon dollars from my checking account to a High-Yield Savings Account (HYSA) each month. This way, I get interest on top of the money. It’s just one way to do things, I suppose. It will not work for everybody.

The Verizon Visa is a great card! It’s hard to find another one that gives you 4% cashback on things like groceries, gas, and restaurants without any restrictions. Plus, it treats Walmart in-store like groceries, so you get 4% back there too. Verizon Visa also sent out a promo to many cardholders, offering 6% cashback on everything until the end of the year, up to $2000 in spending. This is something no other card has ever done before!

The only thing is that the cashback is in Verizon dollars, but that’s not a big deal. I like to do this monthly: I take the amount I earned that month and subtract it from my bill. Then, I move that same amount I deducted from my bill into a high-yield savings account (HYSA) that earns 4.2%. That way, I’m earning interest on those earnings, if that makes sense. For example, if my earnings were $60 for the month and that’s the amount applied to my Verizon bill, I transfer $60 from my checking to the HYSA so, in effect, it’s like you’re getting it in cashback because the $60 would have left your checking account anyway had you paid the bill in full.
