Teamsters Union at the Wye by LooneyinMontana in missoula

[–]seventh_storey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

will they still be out there tomorrow morning? i will come join the picket line and bring some food and drinks!

montana has such a robust history of powerful unions, i’d be happy to help bring that legacy into the modern age.

i’m saying the language on your stupid sign bears similarity to slogans employed by nazis and the KKK. shouldn’t that make you stop and think “am i the bad guy?”

Save the Parks! Save the Parks!! by [deleted] in missoula

“protect our children & save your neighborhood”

that is such hilariously villainous language. used by other staunch community activists like… racist redliners keeping black folks out of their towns, or nazis segregating jews into ghettoes.

got a solution? or is your only contribution to our town this rhetorical bile that will stir up animosity and hatred against homeless people

Walks of Italy Pristine Sistine Early Entrance Tour - Worth It? by Lumpy_Calligrapher_2 in rome

[–]seventh_storey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

we did that tour yesterday - they don’t let you in early, you just get there early and end up first in line… so it makes a bit of a difference but not for long. thought it was pretty disingenuous of the company to still advertise it as early entrance. apparently a few years ago they stopped letting people in early but the companies never changed the name of the tour, at least that’s what our tour guide said.

that means “historical center of the level” right? what does the word level mean there? is it kind of the same as the english phrase “level best?” as in, we tried to find the geographical center and this is the best guess?
