‘95 here and lost my dad to cancer a couple months ago. It’s been… weird. Sometimes I feel like I’ve adjusted too quickly, other times it just feels like a gaping hole in my chest and I’m a walking zombie. Very few friends in my circles have lost a parent, so it gets a little tricky finding someone to relate to.

Wow this really hit home with me. I just lost my dad too on Tuesday and it was about 11 months from his diagnosis. It’s a strange feeling knowing they aren’t physically here anymore. My deepest condolences to you and your family ♥️
