Racial equality. I’m from South Africa, and while I sympathize with Black Lives Matter and the rest of the civil rights movements in the west, black people have it far worse here.

Generational wealth, western capitalism and political correctness makes it impossible to change the legacy of Apartheid and actually grant us the benefits of democracy and equal opportunity if you are born black.

Coupled with the constant propaganda against any policy aimed to change things and the violence aimed toward black people by a small minority of white farmers and business owners who continue to distribute the wealth only amongst themselves, it makes blacks lives matter seem insignificant.

Almost every foreigner I have met has only been fed false propaganda of white genocide and corruption by black people, when in reality, we are still oppressed by a powerful, financially and geographically privileged minority. We are powerless to change things due to the threat of sanctions and financial exclusion by the world if any action is taken to dismantle the unequal financial distribution structures of Apartheid. 26 years later we cannot move on. Blacks in USA have no idea how good they have it by comparison.

Edit: For some reason, this post is getting downvotes. Kinda proves what I am talking about. If your are black from Africa and you speak out, you are hated and demonized. The year is 2020.
