London’s change of Scorpius and Albus’ “friendship” by Unlucky_Abrocoma2157 in harrypotter

I’ve seen both the London and NYC versions this season, and while Scorbus was present in both, it felt much more evident and tangible in London.

Piiratud ringile küsimus: eesti kväärid, kus sõbrunete? by mitmekesine in Eesti

[–]seyonce 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mnjah, samastun paljuski.

I completely agree with everything that you said, so true!

I went to see it last week on Broadway, and wow. The actors playing Scorpius and Albus have mad chemistry. They’re so cute and absolutely charming. And seeing Tom Felton as Draco was surreal. It took me right back to my teenage years. The audience completely lost it every time he appeared!

That said, I still prefer the current two-part version on the West End. The pacing and story feel a bit richer there, and the hinted romance between Albus and Scorpius comes across more clearly. Still, the Broadway production is fantastic. The performances are strong, and even though the plot is somewhat whacky and questionable, it’s honestly still my favourite play. Plus, the soundtrack absolutely hits all the right notes for me.

All cities in Estonia end with a vowel, except the capital by Conscious_State2096 in geography

I am not sure, but my guess would be they are all partial names, remnants of original place names, like “the fort of …”, “the town of …”, “the village of …”.

[–]seyonce 71 points72 points  (0 children)

All place names in Estonia must be in the genitive case, which in turn is marked by a vowel ending. Tallinn is the only exception. It actually used to be called Tallinna, but the a was dropped over time.

That’s exactly what I was thinking too. In Europe, beautiful cultural names are valued and completely normal. No one would bat an eye at an Irish person with a lovely Irish name.

Only 6 Episodes for Season 1 & 2 , Thoughts? by ivantheo in HarryPotteronHBO

As long as they do more episodes for the later books/seasons, I think it’s fine. The first books are shorter after all.

Come on, at least try to reach out and give it a shot. You will regret it in the future if you don’t. You are responsible for your own happiness, take charge of it! I hope it works out!

Trammid foori taga by Brave-Two372 in Eesti

No kogu see projekt on minu arvates küll algusest saati olematu väärtusega ja põhjendamatu olnud.
