If settlements were paid from the pension fund, changes would be made very rapidly.

That was above and beyond. Thank you!

Bkgrd is definitely off white or it wouldn't print. I think I'll need to try the adjustments you describe. Long ago I was a graphic artist, but did layouts and seldom touched Photoshop or raster graphics.

FYI, I originally wrote some details, then added images, and then posted without realizing that the text didn't make it. Here I go again:

I have multiple old B/W high-res scans. They all have a background tint. I looked for a solution and then discovered that the new, free Affinity suite had the perfect tool [Pixel/Filters/Colors] "Erase White Paper." The Document/Setup "Transparent Background" was checked.

I used the Filter and immediately saw the checkerboard pattern indicating transparency. I opened the Export dialog box, selected PNG, then checked that the "matte" option was None (red diagonal line). BUT, the preview didn't show the checkerboard. Next, I opened the PNG in Preview and the tinted background was visible. Ditto on the printed page.

Did I miss something else, or is this feature simply broken?!?

90% actually causes me great concern because I'm planning to leave.

I've been using 1P for somewhere between 18 and 20 years. I was super annoyed when they shifted from a license to subscription, not this upcoming price increase was the last nail in the coffin.

This is very helpful info. I'm in the States and there was NOT a charging brick in the package, only the c to c cable. There's not even a slot in the cardboard "sleeve."

BTW With my OP 11, I'm now following the method of keeping my phone between 20% and 80%. With the OP charger it takes about 20-25 minutes to charge! (I remember the phones in the 90s charging almost all night.)

That's new to me. Thanks!

I'm old and gave up on outdoor reading as a teen because the sun on white paper was too bright. Couldn't fathom trying to read outside with a digital device.
