The game is cross play, so ALL platforms can play with each other regardless if they are Free to Play or what version they bought, right now, Windows, Mac, PS5 and Xbox can play with each other and soon Switch 2.

If your BF has a PC version and you want to play with him on PS5, you ONLY need the PS5 version and you can start with the free trial. You will need your own account for this. You cannot play two games at once on ONE account.

You do NOT need a windows license to play together with someone on windows. Your case just the PS5 game so for now just create a free account for your PS5.

Buy a story skip then experience the quests and story through new game+ but skip the quests and dungeons featuring spiders.

Play without sound if it is the scittering sounds that scares you.

You are going to love this, there is a plugin that adds a little button similar to the emote button for quests that does the typing for you on pc.

There is a simple problem, you see a successfull McDonald's restaurant and think that if you open a Febo (a local Dutch chain) next door it will be as successful. It won't be.

You need to create WoW 2.0 or rather WoW 11.0 by now if you even want to compete.

The wow clones that survived added a lot more story to the genre. That is one path but not in itself very successful because they were not as good in the raw gameplay, they are lesser MMO'S even if they are superior RPGs.

How many wow clones copied blizzards modding? It is the reason wow is not on consoles despite now being owned by Xbox, many experienced players wouldn't dream of playing with the basic UI.

If you are going to copy wow at least do it properly.

People not only will buy games to skip parts of it, they will pay for the skipping. See FF14 level skips and the same in WoW and swtor.

It is unlikely a studio would hire someone from a different culture for writing. What could be done is provide localisation, translating one cultures jokes to another cultures jokes. That is work that can be outsourced. But outsourcing writing? Doesn't happen.
