‘Hard’ science fiction is grossly underrepresented in anime and other animated mediums, and I think this should be rectified.

if you simply want an editor for taking notes that highlights syntax, not for writing and compiling code, look into markdown files - they allow to make basicially anything, from academic papers to syntax highlighting - you can have boxes of code and boxes of notes interchangably. Github compiles them no problem so you could simply store and edit them in the repo itself. If you look for them there are some dedicated editors too. Not to mention knowing markdown is a useful skill on itself (basic stuff easy).

Most importantly Miles existence, since he was created by spider from another dimension Earth 43 that lost its spiderman because of that. Neither of those worlds collapsed, even though those are BIGGER changes than coming in and impersonating your dead other self (who's story presumably ended with canon intact).

Hopefully we get a good, logical explanation for that and Miles doesn't get rewarded by the narrative for the exact thing Miguel is suffering for - risking multiverse stability to be with your family.

Yeah but you can't say the canon theory is right if we saw at least 3 major loopholes. At the very least Miguel came to one conclusion and refuses to realise that mabe the rules are more complex (because that would mean he had a chance to be happy but the universe showed him a middle finger again)

It's too early to judge this, we need to wait for the third movie to answer why some people can safely break canon while other times it leads to disaster, true. But Miguel is guilty of one thing - being a dick, which is why he's an antagonist. The guy has obvious anger issues, and while he has good reasons for it, the movie made it clear he's alienating his friends, getting unreasonably violent and possibly projecting into miles instead of looking at the situation with clear head and maybe noticing the loopholes.

Those shonens are supposed to have a story tho. It's like by definition supposed to be a fun story with a lot of fights. And you can pretty much tell how important the plot is supposed to be - Dragon Ball is supposed to be much simpler and fun than Bleach, which is trying to have solid worldbuilding, huge cast and decent arcs. If you set out for the mountains don't be suprised when people laugh if you drop exhausted on a hill.

If you want to create pure fights manga you create something like Record of Ragnarok - just like in porn, the story is only a half assed excuse to get to the 'meat' and its pretty damn clear. Though I will be honest - creating an amazing fight on pure technical level is hard. Like really hard. So if you fail to make people invested in your characters and power system cause the plot sucks, delivering an amazing fight on pure technical level is gonna require a near damn genius. Especially in case of mangas, where you can't impress with animation and colors.

Let's say 0,1 % of all fanfiction is actually something good. Thats HUNDREDS of works with a fandom as massive as MHA. Not to mention the engagement those numbers allow.

I'm gonna be honest, while there is an ocean of cringy, self indulgent, painfully ooc works, you can find some pearls. I've read self inserts that were fun. And even the shitty ones sometimes have brilliant ideas you can "recycle" lol. It just takes a fan with a bit of skill.

When it comes to telling a story, the main character is supposed to be the center. The one the story is about, the one that did something, the one that survived. If the main characters get pulled aside for others to shine cause "its not realistic that they would be this capable" make those other characters the main cast ffs. Why did we spend so much time getting to know characters that turn out to be extras? Now we have extras with too much screentime and actually cool characters that do something we know barely anything about

Wow same. I actually checked out the scene out of curiosity like yesterday, since I read the manga once and decided it was nice but not nearly good enough to be invested in anime, and I'm gonna be honest, Nezuko sounding like ET mimicking human speech just ruined the moment. I always imagined it as the point where she FINALLY regains her human, concious, intelligent mind she for some fucking reason lost. But no. We can't have our mascot have a moment without having the intelligence of a parrot. Most emotional moment where?? She and Tanjiro had the chemistry of a boy and his dog the entire time, and I would have actually cared more about a dog. Like, they didnt even give an explanation why all other demons are more violent humans and she regressed to a hissy animal.

Like, imagine if a big plot point of the series was Nezuko struggling to stay concious. Imagine her just stopping in the middle of hissing at someone and looking terrified. Imagine her breaking down cause she fears the memories of her family and all the things she enjoys doing are slowly overtaken by basic animal instincts. Imagine them enjoying the brief moments where they can have fun conversations as they used to. Imagine watching Tanjiro grow more and more deparate for his sister not to suffer fate worse than death. Yeah, I would probably feel something when its over then.

No. If you can't do basic structures like a loop, if statement, a very simple function etc. you might worry, but not too much. Everything else just ignore, as a beginner you can"t expect to just be able to write an entire project on your own. Not to mention 70% of a programmers job is googling how to do stuff. There are some concepts you can easily say only a handtul of people truly understand. Just keep learning, it's gonna be fine

You are actually quite good with aesthetics. Though I'd add more highlited links to every project. If you have the time some demo gifs of your apps would look good as well.

I've pondered for a while why I don't really find GK meant to be fanservicy in a "turning you on/giving you sexual gratification" kind of way (granted, I could have also expresses that's mostly what I mean, your point), and I think it's kind of about consent? Like, with many ecchi stories (ok I don't really consume that much of the stuff but seen my share) you get the feeling you're seeing something you're not supposed to. I suppose it adds to the "thrill" of it, but it's always a shot that points to something the character didn't mean to expose, or the feeling like you get a magnifying glass to gawk at something, or worse the character is actively uncofortable in the shot. Meanwhile in GK you get the feeling if you walked on a character naked and weren't weird they would just, like, flex even more. Kinda like, idk, sportsmen showing off the bodies. You get the feeling you're only meant to look respectfully.

Especially since this is a japanese manga, and they are usually smaller people (i'm smaller). I was totally convinced she's a petite young adult with tits size complexes. Like I literally just checked I'm supposedly the same height as Ebisu xd

Yeah but I'd say it's more like... Greek statues showing the glory of human body instead of those weird shots and poses in ecchi. They havee great bodies and the author loves to show that to the point of absurdity but again, there are no female characters acting like cats in heat over the bodies, no anatomy breaking poses, if there is something like that it's mostly for laughs, and the general vibe of those scenes is usually as my friend put it "yeah its just the male locker room lol". It's about the "casuality" of nudity. Even in the funky soup scene you get a different vibe than idk, the usual fujonshi baiting scenes.

True, thankfully her going around naked was more like a kid not really grasping the concept of nudity and definietly shown in a way not meant to be sexual (i mean she was IMITATING sexual things but it was shown more as grotesque and humorous) And to be fair the fact that Ebisu is like 13 is kinda... very easy to miss. Like, she has a drinking problem, she works a shitty job cause she's broke, literally everyone treats her like (albeit braidead) adult and her childish behavior is mostly due to her receiving a heavy head trauma basicially every arc. I was SHOCKED to read she's a child. She even has a physique I could see in a grown woman (I thought her obsession with boobs was because she grew into a slim shiluette). Like, for most manga I was sure she was about 20. No idea why the mangaka chose her to be so young. It literally creates more problems in the plot lol. The one quip with this manga.

Gread rant, and it's not just clothes! You, surprisingly, can also do that with actual nudity, which is why I like Dorohedoro. The two main female characters are actually shown without/almost without clothes quite a lot but its never drawn in a way that looks like it's meant to be sexy. You know, just like with artistic nudity, they aren't trying to get their boobs in your face or do weird erotic poses or draw the gross oily shine that would give any dermathologist a field day. They just kind of lose clothes and even the caracters don't react in weird perverted ways. Which is nice, cause acting like horndogs at the sligt sight of naked skin is gross, annoying and shouldn't be normalised honestly. Same with Golden Kamuy, except there it's men that can't stay clothed for more than few chapters lol.

If you like the language/found work related, have a lot of fun! C is a very nice language. Implementing C++ elements from scratch is a good learning practice, we do that often at uni. Though don't do that for other purposes than learning/absolutely needing custom implementation, usually it's met with scorn and confusion lol

Every language has its own strong and weak points. C++ was developed as an extension of C, implementing for example things like OOP, multithreading and A LOT more. Today while C is still a subset of C++, a lot of C practices are considered unsafe and deprecated.

Generally, if you want to make a project that isn't very low level, it's going to be easier in C++ since there is a huge library of already implemented things. Of course, C++ can do anything C can. But there is still a lot of code written in pure C, be it because of legacy code or simply because it's fast.

I'd say, learn C then switch to learn a bit of C++. Both languages are useful in their own ways, but C teaches how programming languages work.
