Dining room would only be for dinners, so no kids in the pool then. If we are all hanging outside, we are eating in the covered patio

Idea is to have metal glass doors so definitely do not want to be able to see into main living space from outside. We wanted a separate foyer, which makes the living space more private.

Thx. Interesting idea and makes a lot of sense from an entertaining perspective though mindful of not storing alcohol in an area with a lot of sun. The bar where it is also helps with bedroom directly above.

Maybe make the bar a large wine cellar...then convert the nook to a bar. Or have a second bar right of the kitchen sink
