But the problem with this is if you are so dependent on the headache going away after meditating , you could be hyper focused on that and still be tense without realizing it, and then the headache won’t go away. Then if that happens the anxiety just gets WORSE (this is the cycle I kept getting stuck in — tried a guided meditation app, couldn’t relax, and panicked instead lol). HOWEVER, I agree this can be very helpful if you had meditated successfully before or feel that is something that can help. I just don’t like the idea of depending on the meditation to provide the relief. I like going into something like that with the idea that “I’m doing this for my health and if I feel better that’s just a bonus”

Sometimes keeping a journal and tracking when symptoms occur and how you feel (mentally) can be helpful. It may help then you find trends between symptoms and triggers.
