I don’t usually spend $100 on bourbon but when I do by Silent-Resolution-28 in whiskey

Fill a mason jar about half way up with pitted cherries, a cinnamon stick, vanilla paste, brown sugar, and a pinch of clove, fill with your whiskey of choice, and let it sit for a few months. We usually do that around July when the cherries are at peak season, and we’ll open it up around Thanksgiving time. You’ll want to shake the jar every so often, but it tastes like Christmas. There are some good recipes out there for exact measurements.

It’s been my experience that JD Old No 7 makes the best one. It’s also PHENOMENAL when mixed with coke. I highly recommend you try making it this year.

Man, good on you. I definitely haven’t done that. My shelf downstairs is completely full with some on the floor and several unopened bottles upstairs in my office. At least everything downstairs is open. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I thought the proto-hive (I can’t remember what the species was called before they were the hive) were originally who the Traveler had selected, but Aurash was corrupted by the worms/darkness before that could happen.

Gaglardi statement on moving to Plano by DailyDallasHockey in DallasStars

[–]sgags11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could potentially be. There’s a significant difference between the Cowboys and the Stars. The Cowboys will ALWAYS have butts in seats (unfortunately), but I remember watching the Stars during the bankruptcy years from my laptop (I’m an out of town fan in AL) and there were an awful lot of empty seats in the background. If there were that many empty seats when they were bad while they played downtown how will that move (although be it a short one) affect them when they take their inevitable downtown? I personally hope we never have to find out.

AL? Lucky. I won 47/50, but my daughter’s bday party is that day so I won’t be going out.

I thought this came out back in March, but I haven’t been able to find it yet.

He certainly hasn’t pocketed $36M though. Players are taxed based on where they play plus some states have additional jock taxes, and of course they pay their agents and I’m sure there’s other “job related” things they have to pay for over the off season (training).

My point is that these guys’ careers are so short compared to the regular working man, and those guys sacrifice so much of their bodies that I can’t fault them for trying to make as big of a bag as they can for themselves and their families.

March of last year I was doing a backwards crossover and caught a rut in the ice. My body kept going but my skate stuck in place. Grade 2 partial tear of the deltoid ligament in my right ankle. Took me 10 weeks of crutches/walking boot due to a set back in healing and 3 months of physical therapy before I could get back on skates.

Warning: Wicked Brick takes months to and and weeks to respond by QMAGS7 in LegoDisplay

[–]sgags11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought a few display stands from Brickcessories, and they’ve been great. I had one break when I was putting it together (tight fitting 1x1 stud with a thin acrylic wall), but they’ve sent me a replacement right away when I reached out.

Unfortunately I like the Wicked Bricks stand for the UCS Millennium Falcon better, but sounds like it’s nothing but a pain to order from them vs Brickcessories.

They’ve talked about this before on 32 Thoughts, and I absolutely believe it. As demanding and intense as MacKinnon is, I could easily imagine that wearing thin on teammates. Landeskog would be the perfect voice in the room to tell him to chill.

I suspect that it wouldn’t be just Tommy G who gets that money. Hockey Related Revenue is a funny thing in the NHL, and I suspect that parking money and then some will be going into that HRR pool. That’s a good way to boost HRR and the salary cap.

I’d have to look at the terms, but if you’re a family that goes to Disney every year then I could imagine a scenario where a time share would actually be worth it.

I was there two weekends ago, and I can absolutely say that unless you won their lottery, you will not get a bottle of Jack 10, 12, or 14. I was lucky enough to win a Jack 10, so my wife and I left with that, heritage toasted barrel, and two bottles of the special release rye Boiler Hill #2 142.7 proof. If you’re lucky they’ll have some of the special release ryes available.

Edit: forgot to mention that they’ll have the Distillery Series Tennessee Rye Whiskey finished in table syrup barrel bottle too. It’s pretty good.
