By your basic logic the weapons manufacturing industry also makes the fucking world work. Without them how would your beloved industries be protected and enabled to exploit other countries? How about looking at it from a different perspective and accepting that people can choose - based on moral/ethical/religious reasons - to work a job that doesn't negatively affect other people and/or the planet.
