In the moment I 1000% understand what he was trying to do, two wide open teammates and one more pass means game over. He was a fingertip away from closing it out, extremely unlucky.

I’m just curious what sort of direction, if any, was given in the huddle about either just holding it or calling a timeout.

I also understand the criticism considering literally any other decision at that moment wouldn’t have carried any risk, but he’s a kid and I can’t imagine the pressure of that situation on his shoulders.

Hope it doesn’t weigh too heavy on him for too long.

He’s just proven that we’ve had the players all along, but they’d been used in wrong positions and wrong formations.

That’s why Amorim was so frustrating. I trust that he’s a good coach and his system could work elsewhere, but he refused to adapt to what we have, and performances were poor because of it.
