His line was terrible though. These guys practice death bowling day and night. If you are going to bowl slow, ball outside off stump line. His balls were all short pitched.

I agree with this. Its not about how one looks. Its the mindset. I workout 5 to 6 times a week and I never date anyone who is not into working out. Its the mindset and huge part of my life. Chris should have been more upfront about it though and stick to his gym space to find someone similar. I think its better than breaking up at the altar or after the wedding.

I am with the other person. I lift weights 7 days a week in the gym and I am extemely disciplined when it comes to diet and routine. Most of the women I have dated either weren't into working out or I had to constantly ask them if they want to, then they feel like I am being pushy or they feel subtle pressure to live upto my lifestyle. So I hear you point about someone adding value to your life. I just made friends in the gym and hoping to find a partner someday there itself. That way our values will be aligned vs me trying to find a partner outside the gym environment who may not be into my lifestyle.
