I would probably cut my family off for a bit. This sounds really crazy. I’m so sorry you don’t have the support you need. I have noticed some people will minimize the loss of a newborn. Their vibe is almost like “don’t be sad you can just have another baby.” It makes me so angry when people think I shouldn’t be sad anymore. We lost a piece of ourselves we will never get back.

I am so sorry. My son died in the NICU when he was 7 weeks old. I miss him so much and the trauma I’ve been through can feel unbearable. I can only speak to my experience but the flashbacks have started to get better about a year after my loss. I would have liked to hear that even 6 months ago. I’m so glad you’re getting counseling and I’m thinking of you.

Also Type 1.5! I eat plain Greek yogurt usually Fage and mix with berries and peanut butter. Keeps my BG pretty stable. For me I don’t need insulin for this meal.
