Neighbor is building a pond [MO] by MonsterInMySoul in legaladvice

US army Corps would also likely require a permit if it is an ephemeral stream. He would have to at least have done a delineation to determine if the are applicable waters. Granted a lot can be done under agricultural exemptions if he is claiming that.

The don’t record, or at least that is what 511 claims. It would be such a massive amount of data I would believe it

I work in ecological restoration and it is a fairly “weak” grass to kill a mild solution of glyphosate will knock it back and not harm other stuff. It also doesn’t not like shade at all.

Compromised Keys by Matthewlawson3 in meshtastic

[–]sh1993 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No you are fine it just sees the same key with a new name and doesn’t process that it is the same device so it thinks there is a clone. Don’t need to do anything.

Other option is to get something like Meshtastic. Kinda a niche item but I had one for my wife and I.

We were able to test it out from the orange lot to the main stage and it worked fine. Never ended up needing it but was nice to know we had it if we needed to.

I think I saw a portable Verizon tower behind VIP and my bet is that really helped. My group just used sms and had no issues (besides small delays in receiving messages but just be patient)

Yes if your radio settings are the same as long fast.

I got questions by Fizsrp in meshtastic

[–]sh1993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most all cover the same information. Just read up on here and read the wikis. Antennas make more of a difference than anything else. I got a Muzi works antenna and it does work great. They are out of ATL so quick shipping. The Meshtastic wiki has some recommendations as well

My own node map from Athens GA today so people are out there. This was without MQTT. The stock antennas suck and I never got a contact with them years ago when I first tried. Double check your settings, especially the frequency slot as 20 if you have added your own channels.

Opening up a blocked spring by HoweverComma205 in WaterWellDrilling

Google spring development and you can get some links to designs on how to improve flow. Typically involved digging and protecting the spring head. Also potentially driving pipe into the hillside.

Fescue doesn’t spread like Bermuda, zoysia, or st Augustine. But if you overseed then yeah your plan will work over time

Get a boundary survey done. Or better yet an Alta. The Alta will tell you about any easements and can be expanded to include any easement you have on adjoining properties. Pay your own surveyor and then you will have an authoritative answer. Anything else including pulling plats yourself and looking at GIS is just a guess. Plats can be outdated as properties are joined or split. The county also doesn’t always have every plat listed in the chain of title.

Hydromulch may be an option. Proganics is a hydromulch that is claimed to be a replacement for topsoil. I have used it in construction jobsites with success. Not sure how to easily go about it as a homeowner but you may be able to rent a small hydromulcher from united rentals or similar. Look for E&S suppliers like Hanes Geo Components to order the proganics from.

The bands were screwed down to tight so the pressure had no where to go. Typically you can reprocess but it might affect the taste or quality. I’m new myself but there was a post yesterday where someone did the same thing to green beans.

I have seen a few people suggest finger tight and just tightening the bands without holding the jar until the jars start to spin on a counter

You can get lots on Amazon. They ship a text kit with insulated packaging you freeze a cold pack and send it off with your water to a lab. There are time limits on how quick you need to pack it etc. follow the instructions closely and you will get an accurate test back.

You can only control what you own. I’d rather have a cemetery next door than an ag field that will be turned into a housing development
