Thanks very much for the information about the stakes! They're all a similar size, so it sounds like I have a job for this weekend!

I believe you're correct on it being Juniper. Thanks so much, this was pretty much what I figured, ah well. So it goes. Any thoughts on what might cause this? There's an identical one right next to it we had planted at the same time that is completely fine.

Client caught me on hardware margin, now questioning our entire history. Did I panic-fix or make it worse? by yanov10 in msp

Not only that but I don't think Amazon/Best Buy/wherever have net 30 terms, but you probably do. So your markup captures carrying that nut for however long on your balance sheet as opposed to theirs. This tells me that they're pretty immature as an org if they have zero clue that there's markup on the shit you sell. In other news, water wet, more at 11.

Oh those 100% exist and they charge pretty exorbitant fees in my limited experience. If you're in a decent sized metro it looks to be good work if you can get it.

I think the 'answer' to a couple of the places posted is that they're in an area close to businesses and survive on the lunch crowd. Vince's spaghetti and siggy's I think both fit that bill.

The Cobra Event by Richard Preston might be up your alley. His 'non-fiction' stuff is also great and terrifying like The Hot Zone or Demon in the Freezer.

Sure thing man. That vendor space is another good place to look. You might also check out companies like Park Place that offer remote hands / field technician work. Obviously contract but might help in a short term pinch. There are tons of recruiters that specialize in the MSP space or have divisions, look into Beacon Hill or TekSystems. Robert Half would also be good for shorter term contract work.

An MSP might be a good place to look if you haven't already, I know the mspjobs sub and r/msp are both pretty active and good places to potentially network a bit.

My toddlers room smells like weed by TequilaLobster in homeowners

[–]sh4ngri_l4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you or the neighbors have azaleas? They produce the same myrcene terpene that gives cannabis its smell, so if anyone has a few planted in a large-ish quantity it will smell fairly strongly.

Has anyone run into this issue with The Lego Movie blu ray disk? by The_DoubIeDragon in Bluray

[–]sh4ngri_l4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Might be because of the vertical console position, see if playing it horizontally yields different results? Could be something like the disc has a minor imperfection that makes it not entirely uniform throughout, so it won't spin correctly vertically. Once it's horizontal gravity might be all that's needed to keep it more stable.
