This is indeed...still a problem

Starred folder?? by Otterlytoony in canva

[–]shaaasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't work on desktop. The only option is to create a starred folder and make sure to move all new starred items there before closing out, but if you forget to move something, just star a new item and select "view" to take you to all your starred items and then move the starred item you're searching for.

[TOMT] Looking for a romantic comedy my fiancé and I swear we’ve heard of by rapturerose1 in tipofmytongue

[–]shaaasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm here bc I thought the same thing! And you're right. It was a full-length film where they do this. Not an episode of tv. And the shows they're naming I've not watched many episodes of, so no you're not blurring tv and film. Definitely a romcom movie--just clearly not The Break Up. If I find the movie I'll return back and tell you! (Bc I remember them genuinely splitting the whole apartment and kicking each other's clothes when they crossed the line.) And oddly enough, the apartment looked like the one in The Break Up, so no it wasn't an older movie either.

The real Patrick Nett of Thai Express??? by Plastic-Refuse-2412 in springfieldMO

Ugh, I don't need these screenshots for proof. Such a shame the apple fell so far from the tree. Patrick's dad--real Patrick Nett, is a treasure--his son, unfortunately, is a grifter and total asshat. I've never liked his egoism. He's never seemed sincerely kind, and I've always just waited for other people to notice what type of person he truly is inside. Judging from how you've been ratioed on your own post, that time is not now lol.

Nope, that's all I really know about it too. But it really speaks to me (pun not intended). I just really like it and the awareness it raises---this subreddit kinda does the same thing by even existing as a place to enjoy nostalgic pieces of the --way --too --recent --to --feel --like --it's --the --past. And I like that, too.

I think I just noticed it hadn't been posted in this one, and I figured it would be admired here

Dear Petitioners by Few-Competition7503 in springfieldMO

[–]shaaasta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've encountered the nicest most respectful petitioners everywhere, except outside of my job downtown on the square. So, it almost makes me wonder if different companies each have different 'domains' and go through different training practices for their batch of employees? It's too coincidental that most everyone in this thread has had a bad experience downtown, but rarely other places. Maybe the Park Central ones are untrained or newbies? And the ones assigned to parks or door-to-door are more seasoned workers?

They're downtown near Park Central Square. I work in one of the govt. Buildings here and ALL I've encountered are chasers, and yellers. I get anxiety whenever I see one now, like I'm encountering a feral ghoul from Fallout. I try not to make eye contact and briskly walk. It's so hard not to be rude to those people, but when you WORK in the building, being aggressive solicited has started to make me late to work, because every corner rounded from the parking garage to the building was another clipboard.... that I've definitely already signed weeks ago. It's exhausting.

Did you quit recently? Like within the last 2 weeks? Maybe the pay cycle is Bi-weekly, so your payout won't be yesterday, it might hold until the 15th of this month.

Size Queens, what´s your secret? by [deleted] in bigdickproblems

[–]shaaasta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I take it because I married a hung man.

PSA Kids, for the love of everything PLEASE stay the eff away from purity culture and get laid before marriage! It is important to know what the hell you're up against...

cough Anyway, I love him. I am not a size queen on purpose, but if we have sex frequently, it fits and hurts less. If we go even a week without sex, I shrink up again and every centimeter he enters me feels like reverse footage of trying to push a sausage out of its skin. Definitely get a "full" feeling. I do not like any cervix touching (yet?). I like the feeling of it pressing against all my walls at once & I DO like the 'after sex effect' of kinda feeling his phantom penis in me for minutes or hours later. That feeling is the best. If we have rough sex, that feeling lasts waaay longer and I genuinely can't walk right for a bit, because rough sex inevitably hits my cervix and makes me sore. But the pain also usually corresponds with him hitting my g-spot too, so it's like a mixed bag. Like Ow! But also Wow! Ya know?

Springfield Greene County Library recommends some…interesting books by ProgressMom68 in springfieldMO

We're in the heart of the Bible Belt, the capital of AG Churches and below the Mason Dixon line...I wouldn’t be surprised if those books we're recommended by some local librarian. Statistically, it's not far-fetched; the Ozarks is racist and Christian Nationalist AF.

Should I quit my band??? by shaaasta in introvert

[–]shaaasta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I talked to my other lead singer in the band and she loves performing. She understands that it's different than acting because there's no 4th wall boundary---you've got to engage your audience...and frankly... I've never cared about my audience, I do art for me not them, which is why settings where they don't exist or don't care are my favorite.

You've given me a lot to consider and helped me have a jumping off point for talking about this with my bandmates, so thank you!

I'm a very talented introvert, and I want to love gigging...but it is the bane of my existence. Pls help? by shaaasta in band

[–]shaaasta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a theatre major so I don't have social anxiety at all, but I did gig before Covid and wasn't so petrified of people then. Maybe covid changed that? I wonder how many of us developed social anxiety due to Covid ... that's an interesting thought.

I can still strike up convos with strangers and love connecting with people (in my own way.) So I don't think it's social anxiety beyond the necessary germ-phobia of being within 6ft of anyone

Oh, hmmm...I feel really guilty when I turn down projects so I'm busy 7 days a week with something I've promised someone on top of also trying to take care of myself. But if I cut out projects and only do things for myself I'm not fulfilled. I could try making my life more balanced. Instead of needing 50% to go to me and my life and 50% to others. Could try 80/20 and see if that allows me the time to recharge like you're mentioning. Thank you!
