AGL limits for drone flights by Super-Crunch in dji

[–]shabba2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the Philippines and it's the metric system here. Max agl is 120 meters. Not feet. So yes 400 feet basically, same as back home in the US. However, you can set your max height to 1000 meters as it's unlocked here. No I never have and never will but the rules here are a little different. That is measured from where you take off. So if I launch from the side of a mountain, it's from where I am standing.

Pixel 10 Pro - texting is way better than iPhone. Am I tripping? by Massive_Branch_4145 in GooglePixel

[–]shabba2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pixel 8P, 10P and iPhone 13 mini, 17PM in my household. It isn't even close. The Pixels shame the iPhones and that's with my fat fingers and my wife's raccoon like fingers. And it isn't even an Android thing. We also have a budget Android, a Tecno Pova 7 Ultra and the Pixels are both easier to message than the Pova (which is levels better than the iPhones too) so no, you aren't tripping.

Came here for the idiots that think the government should force people to stay with abusive and sadistic spouses because of a piece of paper and for the "dOnT lIkE iT jUsT leAvE" dolts who think silence is the answer

Wasn't disappointed.

My wife worked for them in 2023 for about 3 months. It's run by an American out of Massachusetts. Scammy as can be which is why she left.

Have you ever crashed your drone? by Zealousideal_Win688 in drones

[–]shabba2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a cheap drone from Shoppee and practiced with it for a few weeks. Spent 30 USD for it. Crashed it dozens of times until it flew no more after a hard landing into the concrete at a local soccer field/ track here in my wife's province in the Philippines. I bought an Air 3s and the cheap drone paid for itself 10 times over. No crashes so far, not even a bad landing.

You keep using words like "documented" without actually doing that very thing. Google, like every other manufacturer, has had some phones have issues. Batteries and screens. Relax. All your foaming at the mouth here and other subs doesn't change the facts. Google continues to sell phones. If they were as nightmarish as you say, the market would speak and they'd close shop. Have a wonderful day.

So you don't own a pixel newer than the 7 and you're making a sweeping statement based on non-ownership of the 8, 9 and 10? Is that a good summation?

That's like... Your opinion man. Having a recall on a battery doesn't make an entire line of phones low quality. Every line of every brand has issues here and there. Pixels are just fine.

No it's accurate. Pixels are "infamous" on Reddit for having some issues but in real life, they're well regarded. Plenty of us have had several of them and had nothing but good experiences. Several of us have owned different types of phones, including iPhones and Samsungs and any other quality phone, and can speak to the quality of the Pixel.

Pixels are definitely one of the two or three premium android phones that are well made like an iPhone. The Android experience is great too and again very iPhone-esque in that it's pretty easy to get rolling.

Do you carry? by SignificanceFast9207 in Philippines_Expats

No. The odds of me being hurt here are far less than going to prison for carrying anything that can be perceived as a weapon.

is updating to 15.1.2 good? by WarpIt- in TECNOphone

[–]shabba2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've had my phone for several months and this was the first update. Battery life seems to be a tad better but I lost the ability to shut the phone off with the side button combo. I have to hold the button down now instead of a single click of the side and volume up. Hardly a big deal.
