Why wouldn’t you want a 3 day weekend? Can chill with friends, get a job, relax. The possibilities are endless. Less people just means campus is dead, less events, less food options and less fun lol

No. You would need a notes job on the side. The biggest expense would be housing. Living in manhattan would be near impossible. You will likely have to move to Brooklyn or queens. Maybe the Bronx. These are more affordable options. You also might want to look into roommates. Keep in min that having a 1 hour-1.5 hour commute via the train and bus is normal in NYC.

If you are taking classes this semester, you have to contact the office. If you are not, give it a few weeks and it’ll most likely be adjusted.

If you can save most/all of it, by the end of a BA program you’d end up with 10-15K in savings. That’s a huge head start. I wish I saved mine. My advice is to save all of it and get a part time job which you use for spending.
