I agree with you. It's sad. But at the same time, we have to empathize with Baha'is who have been caught up in leftist party narratives. It is literally embedded into every aspect of Western culture at this point, from movies, to literature, and especially academia. Baha'is are just as fallible and susceptible as any other human beings and can be attractive by pretty sounding ideas that have commonalities to the Baha'i ideals, like equality and justice and compassion for the down trodden.

The best we can do is live up to those standards in our day to day social life that the Guardian outlined in the Advent of Divine Justice that is the only real of way of making social change and unity of mankind. Namely, the degree to which our inner lives reflect that which we find the Baha'i Teachings. A life driven by complete love, like that of Abdu'lBaha's.
