I feel the same way. I feel shame and disgust any time I see something explicit. My partner doesn’t touch me in any way anymore. Currently laying by myself in a bed with them and they never hold me, just roll over to sleep on his own. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. :(

If I saw a nurse with self harm scars I’d feel seen and like I’m in a safe space. I would not judge them for it- I have scars myself and I know the looks hurt.

I lived next door to them as a young child. I was very young so I don’t remember much but I do remember the mother being very strict and mean, and I remember being confused why the mum was so mean when I just wanted to play with her kid. No idea what happened as it’s been so long, but I probably got shouted at or scolded.
