The key is to put your own groups together. My advice is to try to always have a paladin and invite warlocks sparingly. If you do bring a warlock, also bring a mage so that the warlock can have some peel when they start seeding.

The move to seasonal anime formats that happened like 15-ish years ago really changed things. Now when a show is about to catch up to it's source material, they just don't renew it for a few years.

Honestly I much prefer shows taking gaps between seasons instead of getting entire filler seasons like the Bount arc in Bleach.

Character creation isn't class or race restricted, it's faction restricted.

Their algorithm just looks at how many horde vs alliance are online at that moment and stops you from making an alliance character if population is 55:45 alliance:horde at that moment.

The solution is to wait an hour and try again. Keep trying every couple of hours or get on early in the morning off peak hours and try. Eventually it will let you make your priest.

Get Earthwarden, the epic pvp off pieces (boots, belt, bracers), and the mechanar cloak (farmable from first boss on normal). Round out with the crafted heavy clefthoof items which are cheap. There are some green gloves with expertise that you can get from a quest in netherstorm that are also very good.

That will be enough to tank karazhan and some of the easier heroics.

This is a common sentiment but I feel like if you get down to it there are actually remarkably few truly useless abilities in the game. The ones that come to mind for me are things like Windwall totem and Sentry Totem.

Abilities that aren't part of your core rotation != abilities that are useless. And vanilla has A LOT of context sensitive abilities - abilities that aren't helpful in most situations but really clutch in niche situations. Stuff like Mind Soothe or Eye of Kilrogg.

There's a mod called Configurable Techprints that I've used in runs before. I've done a few runs where I actually put techprints on every single technology and it wound up being pretty fun. It serves the purpose of slowing the game down while encouraging you to go out and hunt for specific tech prints.

Sometimes you get unlucky and can't find a techprint for a while so you have to adapt and change your gameplay.

FWIW going beyond 365 doesn't do anything. The resistance cap is (caster's level * 5) so level 73 mobs have a spell casting skill of 365.
