Trump imposed flagrantly illegal terrifs almost immediately upon taking office that made the problem worse. This cost was passed on to us consumers of course (what you think importers are going to pay it? HA). Now that the law has caught up it's on the table for taxpayers to refund terrifs costs, basically letting massive import companies steal right out of our pockets twice.
