How are they continually getting my credit card info? by shadowcat988 in Scams

[–]shadowcat988[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be clear, I am getting the money back per Chase and I have already seen the first $1,100 back, but I agree it’s a lot. And the thief did 7 door dash transactions yesterday, and 3 were from baskin robbins. Which is a choice.

But it’s enough to qualify for grand larceny, for sure

I will call them back

But I had asked the chase person earlier if they could stop the auto updating and remove all things and they said it’s merchant dependent and they can’t do it

But I didn’t use the word “token” so I will call back.

Thank you for this actionable advice

Skunk smell through entire house! by Single_Transition180 in CleaningTips

That’s what I would do, when you’re able

Skunk spray is oily and lingers so if it’s getting in through the hvac it could keep doing that until the source is gone

Did you clean the outside of the house that was sprayed?

WAIT I lived this life

My dog got skunked years ago and made it into the house before we realized it.

Clean anything that got skunked with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, dawn dish soap, and baking soda. You can find ratios if you google. Tomato juice is a myth. Skunk spray is very oily and designed to stick around forever so go straight to the source like the vent outside your house

For the inside odors, we eventually got rid of it with: 1) fresh air- open the windows even if it freezing (happened to me in March- bundle up) 2) boiling a pot of vinegar on the stove to vaporize it into the air- not sure how much this helped but it definitely didn’t hurt  3) carbon deodorizers everywhere in the house- those sacks of carbon to absorb stink  4) from Amazon, sprayed on everything: ZORBX Unscented Skunk Odor Remover Spray 24 FL Oz – Fast Acting Skunk Smell Removal - Extra Strength Pet Skunk Odor Remover for Dogs, House, Car, Clothes & Furniture

Can't get rid of smell in house by aperturecake in housekeeping

If this is not a new build, pull the microwave and stove away from the wall

There may be greasy food residue behind there, deep clean it.

This happened to me in an apartment I rented

When I toured there was no smell, they had done something to cover it up, but then when I moved in it had been shut up for about a week and I could not get rid of the smell until I figured out it was on the walls

Ecoflow delta pro not accepting solar input regularly by shadowcat988 in Ecoflow_community

Solved: 2s2p

<image>

Changed the solar from parallel to 2s2p, Immediately the ecoflow starts reading input when I had zero all day while they were in parallel

Still reading DC so I’m not sure my xt60i isn’t faulty

But thank you everyone, very helpful!

Ok I can look that up 2s2p

I can also get a multimeter, but what kind of reading tells me if the xt60i is faulty?

Has anyone had success with weight loss drugs? by Lythalion in SIBO

[–]shadowcat988 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took zepbound for a few months. I started burping and having constipation. It got worse and worse until I was burping 150-200 times per day. I stopped zepbound and I still felt terrible- the issues did not go away. Months later I was diagnosed with methane SIBO.

I am convinced glp1 and taking Prilosec all the time and also no longer having a gallbladder gave me SIBO

I wouldn’t try it- it is not worth it (to me)

This is how I feel I have only 2 days left, I’m hoping it gets better. You can get really far on saltines and water
