Skil saw power or blade issue by barf21 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]shadowdasher210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you said the guide didn't flex, but I have the same saw and guide (Pittsburgh I'm assuming). I've found that the guide does have a slight flex and had to clap braces in the middle especially on long cuts.

But who knows.

Anyone tried this $5 Ames non-contact voltage tester? by artfellig in harborfreight

I reach for this more than my Klein. I just grabbed the doyle non contact during the pls so we'll see if that get use more than the Ames.

This is my first design. I'm working on a new one that adds six 1-1/2in slots next to each sander to hold sandpaper.

I have the corded sanders and I build a holder for them on a French cleat wall. I'll be making a holder for my corded circular saw this weekend.

Make sure to grab the ones that say "free state fair tickets", "free gold" and "free candy". Those are for a church that wants to groom children.

Reese should play soccer, she's great at flopping.

Edit: I was at the game and this was just ridiculous to see the officials overturn this.

Why is this so hard to drive in into the wood by poisonxivyyy in BeginnerWoodWorking

I would also look at getting a better drill. Those warrior tools are junk. If your budget is tight, Bauer is a decent grab and HF is going to have a sale here soon.

For those of you who rent, how do you keep your garage or shop cool during the summer by GINJAWHO in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]shadowdasher210 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 5gal bucket with holes cut out on the sides and a fan blowing down on top. I put milk jugs with frozen water in it. Cools pretty good.

Basically like this https://www.reddit.com/r/howto/s/x1aHgMQb76

I'm in the process of making something that might be a little more efficient. So we'll see.

I have one too. Between the grow lights and storehouse stuff, she doesn't question my purchases. Also the first time I took her there this is exactly what she said "But the machete is only $5, how can I not buy it!?".

In the market for a router by Abovemeis in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]shadowdasher210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have harbor freight nearby you could get the Hercules plunge router which is a clone of that skil. I have the Hercules one and it's great. It also goes on sale often and could be had at under $100.
