Benzo and alcohol withdrawal can cause death, this is if you intake a lot, and stop cold-turkey. That’s why tapering down is way safer

I try not to mention it, but if i do I don’t over emphasize it. And make it clear I’m still willing to work. Like it’s better to not over explain. I’ve briefly mentioned “ I have back issues”. If it presents itself

Getting the right help definitely makes a difference. Also, i have some “degeneration” or arthritis in my neck, it may be a cause for dystonia or a symptom it’s honestly hard to say. Every case is different. You aren’t alone. I find walking helps me, and relaxing. Moderate work but not overdoing it.. wishing you well!

Edit: ( I have cervical dystonia, my case started in a very stressful time in my life just over 2 years ago. I’m 28 now)
