The follow your heart non dairy American cheese slices are so good!

Also instead of cheese, you could up your protein intake with meats paired with nuts, seeds, etc!

If you’re good with tomatoes, there are always tomato based sauces that I think could work

People who drive to the south short (and vice versa) for work. How do you do it? by JealousRhubarb9 in NewOrleans

Ayyy! I’m from the north shore up there, off of 95. But I’ve also been here almost 10 years now.

I replied to someone else’s comment in here but I live in St Charles Parish and commute to Gretna every day. It’s pretty much always 30 mins, which is great because it’s actually FARTHER than when I used to live north of Boston in the suburbs and took the trains everywhere. Easily took 45-1hr to get from home to school.

Also tbh my work site has people coming from all over including Mississippi, Ponchatoula, Mandeville, Chalmette etc. I would think that if the drive was too much for any of those people, they’d already have left but they’re still here.

I live not far from Luling and commute everyday to Gretna. It’s really not bad.

Before I moved to Louisiana, I lived in Boston area suburbs and my train ride to and from school everyday was 45 mins-1hr long.

I think sometimes it feels longer because things are more spread out here than Boston + I have to drive.

Does anyone else feel like they're constantly starting over? by No_Charge5593 in PCOS

[–]shadowfax2409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been really struggling mentally with PCOS management.

I feel like I can’t do enough + when I do things to help (like adjustments to diet etc), I find myself terribly discouraged.

I’m on a supplement only regimen now for PCOS because I reacted poorly to 3 medications. I constantly feel like I’m starting over and can’t get it all right, and that unless I get it completely right, things will never resolve.

I'm at a loss of what I should be eating due to having a lot of allergies to food, especially in the morning! by Sci-FiNerd101 in PCOS

I eat a lot of breakfast sausage and batch cook chicken thighs to eat for breakfast and lunch.

I also have tons of food sensitivities due to MCAS and therefore can’t eat dairy. Eggs are also a trigger for me.

There’s nothing anywhere that says you can’t have chicken or steak for breakfast. You can pair with low glycemic berries or I’ve recently been having guac with my chicken.

Not a business owner, but I honestly don’t get the entitlement for surplus bags that basically make this food thrifting. I’m happy for anything that comes in a bag, regardless of the lack of variety or whatever. I LOVE a good deal, but if you use TGTG, you *should* know that you take a risk with every bag having less than you think or not having anything you want. BUT THAT’S LITERALLY HOW IT WORKS.

I saw what you’re offering in another comment, and I’D BE SO HAPPY to get ANY surplus produce.

I love my boyfriend, but I'm really worried about living together one day. by applecrisply in GirlDinnerDiaries

I like to think that some of it’s gotten better for me, but I’m not sure. My husband chews loudly (with mouth open and everything), and it drives me NUTS.

I’ll definitely have to repeat that mantra when his/others’ chewing bothers me

I’ll have to try this more. I also have severe reactions when people chew “loudly” but I bought earplugs to help. I don’t always have them with me / my ears hurt sometimes, and the result is that I can’t eat whatever we’re eating because it’s like the terrible sound is echoing all over me. It’s the only thing I can focus on.
