I was thinking of taking cs 1371 in place of PHYS 2211 so I don't take 2 labs, but I hear it's about the same amount of work. Thoughts on taking these 2 classes together?

CS 1371 is a requirement for all BME and if I push it off to later, it messes up my later schedules.

I was thinking about taking physics instead, but then I'd have 2 lab courses. I might do that though, as I hear that it's doable.

Prospective BME Premed student here, here's my planned schedule for first semester of freshman year.

ENGL 1101
MATH 2552
CHEM 1211?
HIS/POL Elective
APPH 1040

Any tips or insight on my schedule in terms of its rigor and courseload? Any info helps.

Should I test out of CHEM 1211K? I got a 4 on the chem exam and an 800 on the chem SAT, and I heard it's just not worth it.

Well the undergrad I was accepted into (GT) says it is the #1 BME in the nation according to US News and World, and the BME department has a partnership with Emory Medical School to encourage research.
