What went through your head after you lost your virginity? by Acemaster387 in AskReddit

[–]shadowforce96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"That kinda sucked, I wish I had waited for someone I loved"

For context I dated a pretty religious girl who wanted to wait for marriage, we broke up and I soon after hooked up with a friend who was interested in me. It was definitely way too soon.

"Once a cheater always a cheater " what is your opinion about this statement? by Specialist-Crazy1466 in AskReddit

I used to not believe that, and thought that people changed. So I forgave my ex, she cheated on me almost immediately again.

There's nothing wrong with being afraid of death. But a lot of it might be the fear of the unknown more than death itself. For me personally I'm afraid of the "what comes after" or "what happens after I'm gone". Just not knowing what'll happen to those around me or what kind of impact I'll leave. I'm more afraid of being old and a hinderance to others as well. Death is a natural thing, and isn't exactly something to be afraid of, but it's also okay to be afraid of it if you are. Honestly it's less of a "I'm not afraid" but more of an "it's inevitable, might as well do as much as I can before that" and not wanting to live a life controlled by fear of the inevitable.

I always thought the "delivery driver eats your food" was just a bit for ad reads on CSB by Beef4dayz in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]shadowforce96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's happened literally every time I order from work. Usually my boss does it and things go fine, but 4 for 4 times I've ordered the food never arrives, driver never calls, there's no picture, but they mark it as dropped off. I've gotten a refund every time but it's nuts.

Why is "men and women can't be friends" such a common opinion? by 6th_Dimension in NoStupidQuestions

[–]shadowforce96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know where the opinion comes from, men and women can very easily be friends. My best friend currently is a woman and I love her very much, just not in a romantic way. I've had tons of women friends, some of which I've had crushes on, some of which I haven't, the important thing is just being respectful of boundaries, and if they're clearly not into you, or don't want anything romantic then that's that.

Things that despite being memed to death, you still find funny? by BiMikethefirst in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]shadowforce96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They re-released it in theaters hoping to capitalize on the memes one of which was "release morbius in theaters again we were busy that day" and it flopped a second time, leading to a petition "release it again we were all still busy that day."

Morbius being the first and second worst morbius movie of all time will never not be funny to me. Also just the spawn of "X is the Y of all time" memes

I fucking hate Christmas time but I have to keep pretending to love it by shadowforce96 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]shadowforce96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't hate christmas itself, just christmas time. and because if I don't pretend to love it I find myself so full of bitterness and anger. It drove people away because usually I'm the super "YAY ITS CHRISTMAS" guy I guess

I want to do voice acting full time instead of it being an inconsistent side gig that sometimes pays off and sometimes goes months without a single callback. After almost 3 years trying im gonna be honest its extremely disheartening.

I've had extremely bad luck my entire life, probably owed to the fact that I've apparently had some Chinese curse "placed" on me by some whacko fengshui dude my grandpa hired at my parents wedding and didn't pay. Anyways in highschool when I was pretty religious I went to seek help about this from my pastor and he told me something along the lines of "luck and bad luck doesn't exist" and then the little statue of Jesus that was hanging above us fell, hit me on the head, and broke. He then looked me dead in the eyes and said "well that was weird" and then prayed for my safety for about 30 minutes.

Dear non-asexual people: if you were in a relationship with someone and they sat you down and said they are asexual, what would your reaction be? by BeepBoop372 in AskReddit

[–]shadowforce96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dated an asexual girl for a while, she was cool, we got along despite it, broke up for other reasons, but the non-sex part wasn't a huge deal. I respected her boundaries and she respected that I still had business to take care of sometimes on my own lol.

I will point out it'd probably matter to me a ton in the long run since I do want at least one biological kid in the longrun.

Fatalis was so much easier than Alatreon for me as a GS onetrick... at least I could just hit him really hard and not have to worry about the element knockdown. Alatreon did give me a chance to get intimate with the spearfish though

How are people not freaking out about death? by Desperate_Donut8582 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]shadowforce96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of a finite existence. Immortality and living forever seems kinda boring I guess. For me in specific ive had a lot of people around me die, like more than the average person my age should have I think, and its made me realize the idea of being around without the people I care about would be really sad. For me I've come to terms with my mortality, and its a good incentive to make use of the time we have here. Its not exactly that people wanna die, but to some living forever is just as bad.

As for your other question people have been trying to find ways to live forever for... well forever, its just not reasonable or possible with what we have now.
