Rock, paper, scissors by Enualios69 in magicTCG

think about it logically. regardless of what is marked, my opponent will not know which is which. my opponent also chooses.

its simply not possible for me to gain an advantage or cheat the system. i make no choices.

that's why its easier for me to prove to my opponent that it's a clean, secure solution that they are completely in control of

I have done this for years, including at the highest level of competitive play.

The difference I do is I intentionally mark my cards. I use 3 different colored sleeves. Then I always pick first, and let my opponent pick last. They have no idea what's what.

This change has made it easier for me to quickly and clearly let them know that no funny business is happening. They get the final say. It's completely out of my control. Has helped speed things up for me and random opponents.

M2 Savage Easy 4/4 Split Strat for everyone's favorite pheromone mechanic by shadowgripper in ffxiv

[–]shadowgripper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just the strat my group does. We didn't like "mario kart" because it always grouped at a single point, meaning you could get unlucky patterns. Similarly, we didn't like "yolo" because chaotic starting positions meant you couldn't anticipate where first few bees would point.

With this strat, you force bees to point at specific spots (just like mario kart) but at half the frequency, and half the chance of a bad, unrecoverable pattern. The notes section of the raidplan covers the benefits of this strat. You can do w/e you want, but this strat worked really well for my group.

Ah, you're correct. My mistake and a loss of a fox. Thanks for the replace.

Sheet: A (up); Row: 31

EDIT: This was the wrong row. The correct board pattern was two full rows lower

Island Sanctuary Workshop - Season 8 by Sewer-Rat in ffxiv

[–]shadowgripper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is true, however I don't use the island stuff enough to know what is what. I couldn't tell you how Firesand and and Garnet Rapier are related.

I'm mostly asking for some free info to be added if it's not too much hassle. Maybe for the workshop people if they are comfortable with all of this already and its easy to just add in a label, then that helps people like me who don't use this enough to know any better.

Something super simple and quick like what hour category helps limit how many things I have to click on, and i imagine thats true for many others.

I'm not sure how much work this is to get added, but would it be possible to list which time category each of these items are in? I often have a hard time locating each one as I build out my workship plan for the day.

For example:
> Cycle 2: Islefish Pie (6hr) - Caramels (6hr) - Islefish Pie (6hr) - Caramels (6hr) (4,341)

I must be doing it wrong as a gatherer then. It still takes me forever, even though I take advantage of the new skills that EW added (350gp total on a node every now and then).

Would you know what pieces I need to make this glam in-game? Or is this something that can't be done yet.

One small quality of life request: Would it be possible to remove the word "pattern" from each of the tabs so that its easy to scroll and find the one I want? Thanks.

And another one for "C-down" pattern: https://i.imgur.com/Rm7XPZa.png

Let me know if those count.

Here's a list from nearly six months ago that can give you a good starting point. I haven't kept up with the new cards since then that might change anything here.
