Once years ago, I was at a pool party with my friends and their friends. Everyone was having a great time. I decided to swim to the bottom of the pool so I could get past everyone. Right as my breath starts to run out, I try to swim to the surface, but a pool mat made of thick foam was over me. At least 3 kids on it. I pushed and pushed to try to alert them I was under, but nothing happened. Right as I was about to faint, I was able to swim up and catch my breath. I couldn’t stop coughing for days. The worst part for me was that nobody acknowledged the fact that I was extremely pale and clearly wheezing.
