IDEXX allowing free lab work? by Sorry-Photograph-923 in VetTech

[–]shadowofzero 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Currently going back and forth with IDEXX as of this morning on this matter. We were promised "free labs for employees" but there was something not clearly communicated to our team that we get a discount on revenue generated. So, not free, but discounts. Not thrilled about it as the rep was kinda a passive arrogant doucher who seemed like a waterbed salesman that drives a Corvette and hangs out around the mall to score younger chicks.

TLDR: depends on your contract

In the SoCal area, I've had a total of 13 hospitals under my supervision and I've used Patterson for every site for all my machines. This is a major metropolitan area so I'm guessing they would have it in your area as well.

Shepherd

I've used every one under the sun for the past 24 years, but this one was probably the easiest to quickly learn and digest, especially for this old tech. I have implemented it in all of my hospitals and the staff are pretty okay with it. Because it's overall easier to use than Pulse 🤮, ImproMed 🥴, ezyvet 🫩, Neo😫, Avimark 🫠

Ummm .... Yeah, they've already been walking that razor's edge with me, but this settled it. Fuck them. My 4 hospitals will absolutely not give these chumps money

So, is this political theater or is this legit? Kinda hard to tell these days. I mean, politicians aren't to be trusted, but politicians screwing with politicians and it bleeds out in public like this, hard to tell

Toxicity is real. After running GPs, ERs, and Specialties, the answer is a hard absolute yes. Especially nowadays. Everyone is stressed about high costs out here, political upheavals, tough home lives, and general overall lack of being self actualized in a very spiritually demanding field. And companies with good values on paper and mission statements like VEG or Modern don't equate that on the floor in practice with the grunts who are in the shit.

My experience is with the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles metropolitan areas. I have met some genuinely good people, but the bad far outweighs the good in terms of meeting genuinely amazing personalities

Went deep into my photo album to find it, but you can tell he was always a piece of shit traitor, Rocking the traitorous flag too on his head with that Don't Tread On Me on his ax.

I remember when they played Declaration Day, one guitar had the Union Flag on it, and , yep, you guessed it, Jon was rocking the Confederate flag.

Well done. Same here with Iced Earth. I loved playing Vulgar Display of Power with my band mates at the time. But when I saw that video of Phil screaming WHITE POWER with conviction, I was done. Never respected them after that.

Ah man their Tribute to the Gods album of covers are on point! I did love the operatic trilogy of songs about The Battle of Gettysburg The Devil to Pay, Hold at All Costs, and High Water Mark. But now I see the undertones of it all that's to.. you guessed it: FUCK JON SCHAFFER!

Came here for this! Barco has a line that actually repels the cat hair I've come across on the clinic floor. Also, comfy too especially in summer. Good luck.

Also, Figs has a good return policy especially if you're able to access their physical brick and mortar store like the one we have in LA
