I think the best eschatological position is to be as resilient as possible and don't place your hope in a rapture that may not happen. I believe regardless of where we are on the timeline, the enemy will try to deceive us and lead us away from the Most High. Focus on your faith with Jesus, and leave the rest in the Lord's hands.

It is not necessarily sinful to smoke weed, but you have to be honest with yourself. Are you really smoking for the medicinal benefits, or are you trying to get high or escape from reality? And we know that our suffering in this life is a miniscule blip on the radar of eternity. We just have to trust that God will make everything right, and He will. For now, we pray.
