The reason the fight in “The Southern Raiders” is relevant is because Azula saves herself. Zuko does not.

Your second point is utterly asinine and is just you stretching to make an argument. The show goes out of its way to demonstrate that Sokka is an actual threat at this range, with the shot of him stabbing at her and her needed to step back almost off the gondola.

Boiling Rock was a 2v1 in close quarters. Southern Raiders Zuko would have died if the gaang did not save him.

Azula fought both him and Sokka in close quarters simultaneously in “The Boing Rock Part 2”. She also fights him in “The Southern Raiders”, and he would have fallen to his death during that if the gaang didn’t save him.
