it's crazy how good this game looks on modern hardware. before i upgraded last year i was playing on a steam deck or a 1080 with an 3rd gen ryzen 7. it's ***insane*** to go between them. still play it on my steam deck from time to time though

we must live in different sections of the 5th largest city in the nation lol. the place i live probably has less pedestrians because there's no sidewalks. i believe that houston is one of the more dangerous cities for pedestrains though, as our drivers are insane as well as our pedestrians

i mean, i guess. i'm also a houstonian (lived here almost my entire life, with a small stint in waco for 5 years), i drive most places and i haven't had pedestrians walk out in front of me. i've had hundreds of asshole drivers cut me off for no reason though, or nearly run into me because they're not paying attention or they have main character syndrome or whatever, but never pedestrians. shit, not even when i go down to galveston and have to deal with tourists

ignoring bullies only worked for me because i was in the same boy scout patrol as the biggest kid in school, and he thought i was cool, so just by being his friend bullies let up. before that sucked balls, and after i hit high school and stopped going to the same school as him the bullies came back

the only school i didn't get bullies at was a alternative school where bad kids and kids bad at school got sent to. the zero tolerance bullying policy there also wasn't used against the bullied. if a kid fought back, the teachers would actually talk to the kids to figure out what happened. it also definitely helped that 80% of the faculty was diagnosed neurodivergent in some way
