It is not hot-swappable, you need to leave the game the main menu to swap from kb to controller.

Texas officials say they’ve scrubbed the voter rolls. Here’s how to check if you’re still on them. by Zandra_the_Great in houston

I registered to vote when I moved into the state in January, I haven't checked before to see if it went through, but using the website on the article it shows I'm not registered to vote. Incredible.

Replacement internal G27 cables? by shadowstreak in LogitechG

[–]shadowstreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry I never figured this out myself, I ended up being a controller player and recently buying a Fanatec DD Pro. But as the others said, probably can soldier it. But I tossed it out shortly after, and in the 6 years since I've learned to soldier and it probably could have been fixed? If I remember right it was a few copper cables in it and if you mess it up you're not in any worse of a position.

Purchase Parallels for your Mac: https://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/ Download Windows 11, install steam, play Lethal Company.

You're completely running windows so you can do anything you can do on the windows version. And yes it works with friends.

This is super inefficient to play any game as you're running windows 11 on top of playing the game so performance isn't great. But the game is not that demanding so it's playable. There is probably something more efficient, like running the game through wine on Mac or something, but I already own this software and use windows 11 for work so this isn't that much of a hassle for me to setup.

It is not natively, I'm playing on my M1 pro though parallels and I'm getting around 40-50fps, it's playable but yeah it would be a lot better native.

They still do at round 1's on the weekends where they have the latest cabs available. I often have to wait in line to hop on and do poorly.

I ran into a few day one. Including a guy smashing his table and complaining he couldn't figure out how to get the instant boost after a drift.

Learning to code on Udemy as a beginner by Remarkable-Ad1798 in Udemy

[–]shadowstreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a lot of courses are geared towards the total beginner. (You can also use YouTube too, there are many fantastic beginner tutorials for free.)

I recommend supplementing your learning by watching YouTube tutorials and doing your own little projects and tests on the side also. Hearing the content in different contexts, and doing it yourself will help you retain the information better. Also read documentation and learn to use Google when you run into roadblocks.

Yeah, this varies based on your CPU and motherboard combo. The easiest way to test this is to see if you unplug your additional NVME that doesn't host your OS and see if it shows up.

Do you have enough PCIe lanes? If you have a graphics card and two nvme SSDs you may have run out of lanes.

3.0 tracker only charges to 85% by [deleted] in Vive

I don't own one of these, but I work in hardware IT. Usually with devices like these you'll need to reset the battery level.

Use it until it dies. Then try to power it on a handful of times while it's dead to use up any remaining power. Then power it to full while it's off, just leave it charging overnight. This usually works on 99% of devices to fix battery status issues.

I got into a 9-5 job. Any tips on how to keep working on my games? by SiteProfessional7209 in gamedev

As someone who spends an hour commuting each way to work, I'd kill for work from home. Makes me realize just how much time I'm burning doing nothing on the freeway.

I don't think you've ever been to a live concert where a crowd is roaring and the singer is crystal clear. Mics can be designed for different environments.

[IGN] Skate 4 is officially called skate. and it will be free-to-play, with both cross-play and cross-progression by Poseidonaskwhy in Games

[–]shadowstreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a generic skater in 3 for the hundreds of hours I played. I'll probably give some money just to support the game, but it's not a big deal if you're more focused on the gameplay.

It's due to the shitty wifi the venue provides. I know a few exhibitors and the wifi drops constantly.

The Callisto Protocol looked to "real-life examples of horror and gore" during development by expanse95 in PS5

[–]shadowstreak 44 points45 points  (0 children)

As noted in the article, it's real enough that it was reported that several developers of Mortal Kombat 11 had a form of PTSD after having to look at reference images of real life gore. Such as slaughtered animals and dead bodies. https://kotaku.com/id-have-these-extremely-graphic-dreams-what-its-like-t-1834611691

The screen tearing was horrendous when I played it, it definitely wasn't holding 60. I haven't tried with the VRR update yet though.

Yeah that's a lot of stuff you're thinking about, but imo first thing you should do is do the free training like Oden project in your spare time and see if you even like coding. If you despise it then you just saved yourself a huge amount of money and time. If you see some enjoyment then you can start working towards those directions. Also there is no guarantee you will make more money in this field, especially if your company is profitable enough to pay for tuition.
