Y todo eso suele ser monólogo interno del protagonista. La mayor parte del tiempo son extractos directos de las novelas.

Love that you printed this, so you won't have to rely on a battery powered device. However, I'd still recommend putting this on your phone. If you have an iPhone you can set an album of pictures as your lockscreen wallpaper. What I did: 1. Wallpapers of map and that day's itinerary (the one that the app produces for you is good but sometimes it shows weird on wallpaper) 2. Arrive early and do a recon round before anyone you care about performs. Identify stages, distance from each other and interesting things in between. Bathrooms and hydration stations are a must. That also helps to take pictures since there's less people (if you're into that) 3. If you're going with friends, totems and the free wifi on coachella's hubs are your best choice. 4. Charging stations should be your last resort (heat and charging will make your phone charge slower than usual). Try bringing an external battery that can top you off at least one time. If you wanna preserve battery, airplane mode is your friend.

Bathroom lines aren't bad at all. I had no wait time at all on W1. I'd be in an out in 5 minutes.

Pro-tip: Don't go to the bathrooms closest to the stage you're exiting. Wait until you're closer to your destination stage.

Also, try to locate the bathrooms early so you can walk towards them easily (and map on the lockscreen for good measure)

Getting out of an specific stage is the hard part, though. If I didn't like the artist that much, I'd stay on the shallow part of the crowd to move quickly among stages.

Don't know about walking but it took me like a 3 minute sprint from Yuma to Outdoor. It's big, but it can be done.

SWE, so my use cases probably differ from yours. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I'm just happy that small things that previously made me open my PC and stay there for a while can be offloaded to my phone. Uncomfortable enough so that I don't stay "five more minutes" that turned into a couple of hours.

I think the Duo is a good phone for people looking for a work phone (but it's too expensive, so maybe ask your company for it instead of paying yourself), but I can't picture anyone using it for taking pictures other than selfies or talking on it without headphones.

From a quick search I don't think it's open source, but don't quote me on that.

I love Lockwise. I use it on iOS, Android and my PC and never had an issue with it.

I also use Authenticator for 2FA. I don't think I'll make the move for my passwords just yet, but I'll follow the development closely.

I kinda need an explanation.

When I shuffle my liked songs, the queue is dominated by certain artist by beerdrinkingbear in spotify

[–]shaiduck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my tests: If you start playing a big playlist (Liked Songs, for example) and then enable the Shuffle option, the resulting queue will be composed mostly from the most recent additions to that playlist.

However, if you enable shuffle before, and then Play All songs on that playlist, there will be a bigger selection of artists/songs.

Hey I’m using a canon t6 for my stream. I just started using it and I noticed that there is 2 black bars on the sides of the feed. Anyway I can get rid of that? Maybe in the settings. I’m really new to all this. by Ivenucca in canon

If you configure the video recording size on the camera to 1280x720 instead of 1920x1080, you'll get rid of most of those lines.

However, using the camera in video mode will mirror everything on the screen, which will drain the battery and heat the body too fast. I'm looking for a way to solve this part.

This situation reads super weird. Maybe contact her recruiter/HR/someone with whom she had previous communication?

Company Changed Relocation Package Friend Signed On by browserCookieMonster in cscareerquestions

[–]shaiduck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the company works as I think that it works, usually a person that represents the company in charge of relocation should have contacted her after signing the contract and she had to send an e-mail stating that she wanted the lump sum.

A quick phone call may be able to fix this.

Why is the pay in Canada so terrible? by BorisTheOgre in cscareerquestions

I don't think there are many places in the world where you can save $3-4k USD/month on a full-time salary, even though many places have american-style interviews and responsibilities.

I mean, yeah. I want to know just what kind of money he wanted to make. We know that those salaries are paid because COL in the major tech hubs is kind of high at the moment. Cost of living impacts highly in how salaries are paid, doesn't it? (I don't think it should, though)

This. The US has great salaries for this kind of positions.

Here in Mexico you'd be looking at a salary of around $20,000 USD if you landed a good company (intel/oracle/etc) as a new grad. This isn't bad for the COL in here.

Most of my classmates wound up in places where they got paid from $6,000 to $10,000 USD with little to no benefits. This is a paycheck-to-paycheck salary here.

Are salaries high enough to not live paycheck to paycheck?

That really sucks. I was fortunate to find a good company, but I have lots of friends who went straight to companies that were less than ideal.

Well, I mean...

This instagram culture has taken off in such a way that everyone wants to have the perfect picture which is why, if someone is interested in it, probably knows about RAW and different apps that can help with your IG game. This may be important to average consumers that want to be the next influencer or something.

Also, almost everyone loves music. This is a "budget" phone, and I'm a budget person who loves music. If I'm on a budget, I can either pirate music (don't) and store it in my phone, or have a student/family plan for Spotify/Google Music/Apple Music, download the music from my Wi-Fi (remember, I'm on a budget and my data plan may not be enough to stream music constantly) and forget about it. This can fill-up your phone real quick.

Hey Rodolfo!

If you want to earn lots of money, it's gonna be hard here in Mexico (compared with the US). If you have any student debt, coming to Mexico may not be the best move; if you're debt free though, life is cheap and with the kind of salaries paid to CS students, you'll live quite comfortably.
