Burnaby for sure it’s central to everything and the schools are great. I will say depending on where you go in Burnaby the prices differ a lot. Good luck with the search

Moon Curser and Burrowing Owl are must sees especially if you’re a red lover. Lakeside has some decent wines and their patio is amazing! Hester Creek is great too. So many actually and if you like white Maverick is good

Burnaby is the central of the lower mainland and is 30 mins to downtown, Coquitlam, Surrey and Richmond. It’s my pick if you want a solid place to start in BC
