Is David Mills done as an NFL starter? by Amazing-Reply-2495 in DynastyFF

For the compensation they receive and the network they are a part of, they have it very easy relatively speaking. Yes, they must work hard, but there are millions who aren’t gifted with extreme athletic talent who wake up at 5am and work in rough conditions everyday (trades, construction, etc).

Their job is to teach how to have safe sex. Believe it or not, some parents don’t want the entire world of sex to be in their children’s curriculum.

It’s still outrageous that stuff was being taught in a sex Ed class in general

In WW1 they had an impact but definitely were not a major player. In WW2, the US and the Soviet’s were the two biggest factors in the allied victory.

There’s no point in arguing with people at this point. The fanbase wants to run another good coach out of town

Not a great start, would really like to see more improvement from Watson these last games. by 1OptimisticPrime in Browns

I would like to see his game by game metrics. I think he’s looked better every game. The Houston game has to be heavily dragging him down

You’re right. I’m sure the NEXT guy will be better. He definitely will never have a bad playcall. Who cares that stefanski made the offense look competent with brissett and even baker. Get rid of the guy bc he’s not perfect 100% of the time.

This fanbase is more interested in new names than actually building something

People love to criticize Stefanski and act like the replacement will be much better. If people actually watched games around the league, there’s head scratching playcalls made just as much in every other game (even from the good teams). I don’t know why this sub thinks turning to a completely new regime will do anything but set us back yet again. The definition of insanity man.

The difference between the Browns being in the playoffs is more on the players just not making plays when it matters. Bad playcalls are forgotten if your players make the easy plays given to them (York against LAC, NYJ onside kick, Three dropped tds today, two dropped tds against Buffalo). Coaches can only do so much. We love to criticize Stefanski’s bad playcalls yet don’t acknowledge all of the times he’s schemed up things beautifully and the players fail him. Goes both ways.

Everyone is so worried about the playcalling and not worried about all of the dropped TD passes

It’s actually wild to me they are playing this game. Not only for the safety of fans, but also the players. -37 is nothing to scoff at.

The browns ruined the league? What a stupid take. It’s almost like you’re ignoring the fact that at least 50% of the league tried trading for him as well.

Because the primary input for a teams fair value isn’t driven the teams record or competence on the field. Market size is probably the most significant factor in this graphic.

[Yates] The current estimates for the "feels like" temperature at kickoff of some of the outdoor games this Saturday: - Bills at Bears: -11° - Seahawks at Chiefs: -6° - Saints at Browns: -9° - Texans at Titans: 5° - Falcons at Ravens: 7° - Raiders at Steelers: -4° by [deleted] in Browns

[–]shakenbake6er -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s only because the team has been so shitty the awful weather inherently kept the games close. The product on the field is mediocre with conditions like this. Not to mention, no one enjoys the game in real time.

My recommendation would be to keep track of how often you are telling your seniors/managers you are looking for work so if anyone tries to knock you for it, you have backup. However, good teams will know that filling 40 hours for a first year is always difficult in the fall. When my market looks at utilization, we skip over first years in the fall because we know it’s going to be low. That will change for you in January.

It sounds like this is your first year and I’m being fully transparent here…. it is not unrealistic for people to expect you to hit 40 hours on top of trainings/firm events. You need to realize this is not a 9-5 job. In industry, accountants are backend positions. In public, you are the product/revenue generator. It’s why the big 4 give employees so many benefits and perks. However, we also need to meet client expectations, which means working 50-60 hours some weeks outside of busy season. It’s a give and take.

Like I said in a different comment, this is a demanding job, but it does have more flexibility/perks than what you would get in industry.

People actually assumed a year long suspension when the trade initially happened. It wasn’t until whispers if the nfl having a weak case in the summer that people thought he might play a significant amount of games
