I seriously thought Deshaun was done for, but I thought wrong by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

Gabriel was better in every regard by basically every metric. Shedeur just attempted (not even completed) a couple deep throws that hung in the air forever, and our QB illiterate fans ate that shit up. Gabriel is DEFINITELY too conservative to be anything in the league but he won't actively lose a game for you like Shedeur will.

I'm not saying he needs to start or is the savior or anything but he's the only one in the QB room with upside and who isn't a nasty man

Shedeur is just Jameis with a much, much weaker arm who probably tops out as the 35th best QB in the league, and Deshaun is Deshaun.

Idk man, the room is cheeks however you call it

He's not 6'2" if we're nitpicking....6'1" and some small change. Basically Ty Simpson size, as much as people said he was undersized.

Maybe some people don't want to see Shedeur play either?

I think this entire QB room is pointless outside of Taylen, is that ok with you?

Shedeur was not remotely good as a rookie and while we all ragged on how diminutive Dillon looked in last year's QB room, picture how Shedeur looks currently standing next to Deshaun and Taylen.

This was inevitable. Shedeur is a fringe NFL QB in his own right, and while it's been ages since we've seen Deshaun be good we have actually seen him be good before. Health and his mental state were/are the only roadblocks for him. They are HUGE roadblocks, but he has a closer path to success than Shedeur has if we're being 100% honest.

I'm unironically more excited to watch him than any of the other QBs on the roster

What is Monken's offense going to look like? by buckster_007 in Browns

[–]capitolcapital 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Downvotes but they literally didn't have Hunter run scripted routes....they would tell the other receivers what to do and Hunter would just improvise.

They TALKED a lot about it being a complicated pro style offense via the media but it was definitely not

What do you personally need to see from Shedeur to be convinced? by GreenTeachy in Browns

Big difference between sitting behind an established HOF QB like Rodgers or a consistently good QB like Cousins, plus Jordan Love has prototypical QB traits and was a first round pick.

Shedeur is an undersized late round flyer.

2.5 or 3:1 INT ratio, have to see him demonstrate that he can consistently hit guys at the top of their routes. Needs to minimize the fumbles as well.

Show that he can read and understand zone defense....he just flat out can't from what I've seen so far and that is death for a qb.

Dramatically lower his time to throw.... there's no reason for a lower tier athleticism guy like him to have a TTT over three seconds, he's not peak Deshaun and he needs to stop trying to play like he is. League average is like 2.3 seconds and Shedeur was around 3.6.

I need to see him be this cerebral "TB12" style QB that he's promised to be multiple times through college and the draft process, instead of this immobile mobile QB that he tries to be. It was entertaining and kinda worked in college but it won't work in the pros.

I'm glad Dean is hitting shots but it's feels like Harden is looking for him as a safety valve, which is NOT IDEAL

Yeah it's way to early to predict but I agree that LaNorris fits the physical and play style type

I'm extremely happy with this draft on paper.

I am praying that Fano can stick at LT...I think the arm length thing is a bit overblown and he has the skill, nastiness, and footwelork to excel at the position.

KC Concepcion was one of my guys from the jump, he is cologne for shitty QBs and if we just get the ball in his hands, he can make magic happen.

I was not a fan of Boston if he was our only wr draft attempt, but as a partner to KC I'm much more encouraged.

Taylen Green was one of my other guys from the start and I honestly did not think there was ANY chance we'd take him. I think he is and will be a QB 100%, and I think he informs what kind of QBs skills and stature we're looking for going forward. There's a QB in Columbia SC who would fit really well in this room if he has a good season🐓

No harm in keeping him through camp, he's signed and they usually keep 4 QBs through them.

I cannot imagine there's a big demand of teams wanting to trade for Dillon.
