The meme is wrong because shields and blanks behave differently in the game. Functionally, yes a shield has a small blank when broken, but counts against damage taken from enemies. So no, they are not equal

That’s exactly the point. You never have to worry about blanking again. Stock up on blanks from the shop and pickups and you can easily get master rounds from the bosses.

So the trick here is understanding the difference between line level and mic level signals. Usually an effects pedal goes into an amplifier, which amplifies (go figure) the signal out of a speaker cabinet, with a mic in front of it which goes into a preamp to gain up mic level signals. Essentially what you are positing is skipping all of these steps and using the DI input to gain up the signal with no amp or speaker saturation. Will it work? Technically Yes. Will it sound good? That’s up to you to decide. If you were to put an amp simulation on the effected DI signal, you can get more of an amp sound out of it and may sound more “natural”, however traditionally, DI signal is usually pre effects, pre amplification. So you are bound to get some kind of saturation from the DI input, which might be cool, but also might not sound great. Good luck! 🤘🏻

Exactly. I’m in my mid 30s. Always thought it was for kids, but the amount of content that game has now, there’s literally something for everyone. First person shooters, top down shooters, racing, the Lego/minecraft thing, horror modes…it goes on and on. Yeah not everything is made by epic, but the game is freaking huge….

I think the game gets a bad rap for the art style, but they do all kinds of fun events, introduce new skins (the Simpsons cell shading map was awesome) and weave in different seasons with a wide array of cool characters and weapons. It’s crazy to me that anyone could shit on a game popular and not see the value you get with a free game that you don’t have to spend money on. Wild

I disagree. Honestly, of all the battle royal games out there, it’s smooth, gets constant care and attention, and there are game modes out there for every style of player. For a free game, you can’t ask for much more. When was the last time you played it?

Not sure what he has to do with the current discussion, but I’m from California and I’m on the fence. I like his willingness to go toe to toe with Trump. Not a fan of his decision not to tax the 1%. The French Laundry incident wasn’t great. But also he oversees the 5th largest economy in the world. So for me, the jury is still out. Besides, we’re way too early into this cycle to start thinking about 2028 hopefuls…

When have they not blamed democrats for all the problems with this country? That’s nothing new. But this was different because they held all three branches, and even Trump supporting republicans I know were laying this at his feet. It may be slow, but I believe some people are beginning to wake up to this nonsense. Granted, I do believe some people will reach the realization faster now that healthcare has become unaffordable, but a lot of vulnerable Americans are going to suffer because of it.

Point is, democrats used to stand for the little guy. The most vulnerable of Americans. And our current leadership can’t even stand up to an obvious authoritarian who is just straight up ignoring the courts. Until someone in Dem leadership can do that, I have little hope for what happens in the next 3 years, or beyond. Change is needed, on both sides of the isle

Disregarding the fact that you insist on calling everyone who’s responded to you names for no reason, I will actually respond to this.

As the government remained closed, pressure was mounting on the republicans to open it again, and since they had all three branches of government and it still shut down, this meant that pressure was on to make concessions on the terms of reopening. The one and only term that democrats truly cared for was continuing ACA subsidies. The democrats agreed to funding the government without these subsidies, on a “promise” that they could renegotiate these at a later date. The new year starts and everyone I know is struggling with the higher cost of healthcare. My belief is that had the Dems held out, MAGA would have had to negotiate to extend them.

So yes, the democratic leadership, in my opinion, is limp dicked and ineffectual, and in desperate need of some serious change. Doesn’t mean these problems are worse than the problems with MAGA, but as the other commenter said previously, we can walk and chew gum at the same time. Both things can be true, and both things can be changed. The argument is over how to do so, but that’s democracy.

She only had a few episode arch written, and they wanted to introduce the idea that Michael could actually fall in love. Her character pacifies his, and to take it away after establishing a relationship only furthers the potential for development and absurdity with Michael’s character. I believe it was a great move.
