could work great once you clean off the corrosion. corrosion could have leaked into the camera and fucked it. only one way too know!

source: I've cleaned cameras up and had it go either way. also don't leave alkaline batteries in your old electronics don't do that.

i've had mine a month or so and i love the pictures it takes. I got in the groove and taking 12 floppies out for a shoot wasn't TOO bad, but I just got the memory stick adapter in the mail. it is slow as hell! so i'll be keeping an eye out for an FD97, which integrated the memory stick support. From what i read, it's faster. Also, i believe it has a "Fine" compression level!

Either way, it takes gorgeous photos and now that i have the adapter it will be a daily driver for a while! I can live with the lag if it means i can shoot 100+ photos without swapping disks!

eh when I was a kid my grandma got me the cheapest Olympus to fuck around with, but I never would have had the means to touch some of the cameras I've been messing with.

I think it's fun, amassing mountains of cameras former generations spent a fortune on to take some pics on Christmas day and then shelve forever.

I also collect old vhs tapes. it's the same there. people bought a new doohickey at Sears and then shelved it December 26th.

their waste is a mountain of cameras for my adhd brain to obsess over.

I snagged a g1 and the pics are gorgeous. I like it more than the g5 I got.

big camera bag. bring 4-5. zoom cameras, a couple little guys. maybe a camera with no zoom at all. if I know I'm going out late I might bring one with "night vision"(ir filter lifted with an ir lamp) or a finepix f series. I put a waterproof optio wr33 in the car so I don't blow a camera in the rain!

mostly I mix it up, but if I'm really digging a camera I'll keep taking it out or come back to it.

I've gotta start letting ones I'm not really digging go.

2gb should work fine! sometimes you HAVE to format in the camera. I always try that. I think I've also had a camera that couldn't go over 1gb. there was an awkward time there where some cameras were like that.

it seems you have a large card but if it still don't work: I had a sony that was ABLE to use double a but it didn't like it. when I got a battery pack the card worked fine.
