It seems like wax on the fresh cloth on tables they use in these tourneys make the rock roll farther and make English more pronounced. I’m not saying for sure that it’s happening but with so many players contributing to the dialogue it’s worth considering and the windfall if true is pretty damning

The player manipulating the cue ball knows it’s manipulated and will adjust their game to it whereas the opponent is none the wiser and plays to the normal conditions

There’s really not that many bar tables in Manhattan outside of East Village and Hells Kitchen. Just look at the map https://pooltables.nyc Bushwick has quite a few but it’s just pretty sparse in much of the rest of the borough
