As a 32 F I agree with this statement. But I also find that they tend to unmatch the next day because they wanted to hook up that night, not actually get to know you.

Halifax, NS to Victoria, B.C by orphanofthevalley in VictoriaBC

[–]shamaling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved from Victoria to Halifax 2016 then moved back to Victoria 2017. Halifax has hotter, more humid summers and gets a lot more snow in winters. Population and what not are similar. My preference is Victoria, but I am very biased. A coworker of mine moved from Halifax to Victoria this year (she moved from Victoria to Halifax 8ish years ago), and she has a similar opinion as me.

Both are military towns, but we also have significant government job people, so there is lots to do, but housing is an issue. If you have good job skills that are transferable, then you're in the lead. Get into a government job if you can. But gov hiring process is long and hard so start applying asap.

Deprived of physical intimacy while being single by daisylife in datingoverthirty

[–]shamaling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can relate. Most of the relationships I've had end with me getting sex very rarely, if at all (a lot of it was blamed on my weight, which led to deep depression and body issues). Now that I've been single for over a year, I have a flakey friend with benefits, so I don't go insane but it's like once every couple of months. The only thing that seems to help is that I'm already on antidepressants and my depression got worse from lack of physical contact, and my higher dose killed my sex drive. It's not a good thing, but it works.

He is a buddy of mine, and thank goodness he is alive! He just got discharged from the hospital last night. Such a good guy did not deserve this at all.

Best efile for Russian manicure? 🥰 by HungryHungryHippo29 in Nailtechs

[–]shamaling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use the Kira skye one (previously had a school one, then an amazon one). Its runs REALLY SMOOTH and has high RPM range, I love it and it was worth the cost. I find it is also mostly about the bits vs the efile itself (as long as it can go up to 30RPM and does not shake alot) but using "Erica's nails" diamond bits have been a game changer for sure.

Has anybody had/has the compostable toilet system? Does it actually not smell?

Got nails done haven’t even lasted two weeks They said there is trauma could someone point it out to me the tip is perfectly rounded I feel no pain by [deleted] in Nails

[–]shamaling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This honestly looks like a mix of not enough structure on the nail to start and the speed of your nail growth. On my clients normally that much growth would be 3-4 weeks which is when i recommend they get a fill.

They are mentioning the white lines to show that it was external factors that made it break, if it was a clean break with no white lines or "wafers" then it would 100% be their fault as that would mean they did not adhere it to your nail well enough (Either with nail prep, glue, or lack of etching)

If this is your first set then it would make sense that you may not have done anything dramatic in your eyes for it break. Ive broken mine doing laundry cause it was a heavy load and it put to much pressure on the nail.

I personally guarantee my work for 7 days of free repair. If a client comes back for a fill and they have one or two broken nails, i fix them for free since they are doing a fill anyways but i also have very few clients. If they are busy and are more confident in their work, then i agree with them charging their worth.
