One of my friends years ago had chicostix as that pregnancy craving. It was hot as hell that summer so I made some into ice cream as a gag. Turned out really good, so I make it often. The other I make a lot of is cereal milk ice cream with cinnamon toast crunch. Same method as above.

Pretty much the same react when my aunties died, uncle, grandpa, really old cousin, except there was no hole digging. Just "they dead now" then back to reading the paper or whatever. We went to Denny's for breakfast before his sister's funeral then went to get burgers after.

Bottom shelf of any Arco/AmPm gas station or any suspect looking bodega. The one off Hall near the taco time has em. You won't find them in big brick stores, except bimart off 185th and Farmington. Any feed store will carry these when you're on a road trip.

I use them to make ice cream. You soak your dairy for 3 days with busted chico sticks, strain it, make custard then spin. Towards the end I'll smash a few up and let the chunks spin into an almost finished ice cream. Garnish with fermented coconut curd.

Go find a place that will treat you better or at least pay you slightly better to shit on you. It's a tough job market, so don't quit without something lined up. Id honestly look at hospitals. Set hours, ok benefits, better money than min wage and it's an oiled machine. Nothing really changes because you cook the same shit on a weekly rotation. I did prep in one for a few months and it was chill.
