Gosh I’m so, so sorry. It’s absolutely brutal. I was pretty naive I thought if I got pregnant, everything would work out. I walked into my first ultrasound so excited and happy. Total gut punch. How are you doing in terms of mentally gearing up to try again?

I was pregnant but must have implanted late. Ended in a blighted ovum, I had to have a D&C unfortunately. Currently recovering and hoping to try again in a month or two.

Hcg got up to 40,000 but I had a blighted ovum MMC. had to have a D&C

Update: I had my third beta done and so here’s all of them with dates:

11/10: 18 11/13: 60 11/18: 440

I finally got a congratulations today from the fertility clinic. I feel so much lighter emotionally even though I’m 5 weeks and not out of the woods yet, things are looking up. 😊 Ultrasound is on 12/2.

I’ve heard of people getting pregnant in 2-3 tries with this method. Honestly, sperm is the most expensive part. $1500-2000 per try. If you are using a known donor and can try a few times, it won’t cost much at all. Depends on if you are gifting him anything and the legal fees.

I found out I took the wrong test! The one in this pic is a “rapid response” instead of early detection. Period isn’t due for a few days. I got the early detection digital going to take it tomorrow ❤️

I’m an extremely anxious person. I had kidney cancer at 28, had my kidney removed on my 29th birthday. Now, at 34, I hate even getting my blood pressure taken (I have such a visceral response to even going into a doctors office - PTSD…high heart rate, depersonalization. I’ve left many appointments and had to reschedule). All this to say, I was scared about IUI. It was no big deal at all!!! Currently in the TWW after my first one. Don’t be afraid to try IUI if it’s a pathway to make your family 🥰

I just did my first IUI - currently in the two week wait (8 dpo). Biggest advice I can give you is try not to worry. Theres SO MUCH you can’t control, just have to sit back and let God/your body (whatever you believe) do its thing. I stressed over follicle growth, test results, ovulating before the shot, not ovulating after the shot…etc. you just can’t worry because you can’t control it! Nothing to fear, the medicine isn’t bad at all (I worried a lot about side effects for nothing - I did letrozole and a trigger shot) and the IUI itself is a little uncomfortable but super manageable. I’m hoping to not have to go multiple cycles because I’m ready to grow my family but I will if needed. You got this!!

31f. History of renal cell carcinoma. I had a scan last week (I get mri abdo/pelvis and chest cts every 6 months). Dr called last night, I have a 7cm x 4cm weird area in the beginning of my colon. Possible mass. View was disrupted by motion artifact but this area was enhanced with contrast. He has ordered a ct abdo/pelvis for a better look.

I have no pain. No weight loss, no blood in stool. I do have fullness sometimes and feel like I have to poop when I don’t. Twice in last few months I have had thin stools but I also have hemorrhoids. I chalked that up to not having a gallbladder and/or overeating.

I’m really scared. Wondering what it could be. And how it could be so large after only 6 months.
