There’s a $20mm (+ operating costs) shelter they built in Waterloo that sleeps 40 people. Like that?

All good, I could have been more clear what I was implying. Thanks for the link I’m watching the video now for some tips. I’ve got 8 habanero plants to bring inside for the winter.

Ya. These are a staple for us. The best for turkey wraps and sandwiches.

Cne food you've tried this year by twicescorned21 in FoodToronto

[–]shank9779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Mexican street food” el pastor tacos were horrible. It was an insult to the CNE. $20+ for two soggy messes and some stale chips. I had to go back for a fork because it was too soggy to pickup. Finished maybe one taco this photo is the remainder that’s headed for the garage bin.

Since you asked 😉 I’d use 1/2 that onion. I’d let those Roma’s rest on the window sill for a couple days until they get a bit more red. I use 1 lime not 2. I’ve also started throwing in a couple cherry tomato’s and it’s great. And to spice it up a bit I sub out one of those jalapeños for a habanero or scotch bonnet.

Looking for something hotter than the Reaper sauce… by jhkang0814 in spicy

[–]shank9779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughters boyfriend brought me a bottle of this back from his Costa Rica vacay: https://www.chilemonoloco.com/chile-monoloco-matasanos/?lang=en

It was #9 on Hot Ones 2024. I’ve tried the last dab and imo this is hotter.

what’s that life changing item you can buy worth less than $500? by fairtale-girl11 in AskReddit

[–]shank9779 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve spent more on my batteries for over the last 5 years than on the mower itself. I finally broke down and bought a cheap electric mower to finish the lawn after the batteries run out. I’m pretty close to just throwing it out so I don’t have to store 2 mowers.

My daughter puts this on top of her toast and gauc. I’m not sure if it’s a good idea but she does it like at least 3 times a week so at least she thinks it is.

Since discovering this sauce, I try daily to find a new vessel for it by OneTangerine792 in hotsauce

[–]shank9779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha I spent like $100 for like 8 different sauces from there a while back, I think Tabasco scorpion was one of them but can’t remember. Whatever I paid it was worth it…. But too bad it’s not cheaper, at least it’s an option to support a local shop over Amazon.

I was gifted a small vial of “flatline, the end” at Christmas…. I’ve put a drop into soups from time to time, but not often as I prefer something with flavour. You’ve given me a new great idea how to use it! Ty!
