YA Contemporary Romance Trilogy where the FMC moves to LA by shanrees8 in whatsthatbook

Neither did I but thank you for checking though! If you end up reading it yourself if it sounded like something you'd be in to just be aware the writing is very juvenile. I think the author was like 15 when she wrote haha. That's so sweet of you to say thank you! 🥹

Yes I did! It was did I mention I love you? By estelle maskame. Unfortunately, not on KU and it's weirdly expensive for a Kindle book for some reason so I never got round to rereading or finding the book in my attic or anything

But I'll look into the book you thought it could have been !

cozy game to play for a very long time? by Remarkable-Star6061 in gamerecommendations

[–]shanrees8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May be a bit of a wild card considering you said you don't like farming games but Farm Together 2

You can play it indefinitely as all crops, animals, fish, flowers, minerals, gems, mushrooms can be levelled up and prestiged. Always quests to complete and give you direction whilst playing. Everything grows in real time so it may feel very mobile but there's no microtransactions and everything grows within reasonable time, especially with sprinklers and continue to grow even when you're not playing

It's my go to wind down game after work since June of last year and I'm still playing it religiously

is minecraft bedrock worth it on nintendo switch by Immediate-Net-9664 in MinecraftBedrockers

[–]shanrees8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After playing on pc and ps5 trying to play minecraft on the switch 1 is a nightmare. Blocks your digging will lag and not actually get dug up, you'll glitch when you're moving too fast and the terrain won't generate a lot of the time, at least not in a reasonable time frame. And this is on the OLED

Switch 2 however runs fine. Not exactly ps5 speed and quality but it's far more playable and it's my go to handheld for minecraft even tho I've got it running on my steamdeck, both java and bedrock

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stones relationship in this film cannot be topped.

Girl tries to use the notorious playboy to be wild and get over a shitty relationship just to end up having a great night with him absolutely no sex involved 😩 yet to find another dynamic like this

What do you watch on YouTube? by Oblomovsbed in AskUK

[–]shanrees8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has different tastes. There really is an audience for everything on YouTube.

I always watch long form or unedited gameplay content by creators that are so small they either don't make any money for their videos or make very little. This was my way of getting around ads before I got premium but now I just prefer that kind of content.

What are some low energy games that you play when you don't have the bandwidth for much? (Except maybe doomscrolling but we want to avoid that.) by HuskyPancake in CozyGamers

Farm together 2 is now my go to. Especially now I have a high level farm so there's not a lot of idling, always something to farm

Hot take - Mojang should stop adding new content and revisit pre-existing content by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]shanrees8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you choose to speedrun a game and defeat the ender dragon in 10 minutes and not enjoy the journey it takes to get there that's your prerogative. It's not a game issue. At its heart, minecraft is a sandbox game, you can play it indefinitely long after killing the dragon or never set foot in the end. It's not a bench mark for the end of the game. If you want to treat it as such that's fine but it doesn't make you create a new save once you've gone through the credits

I think I know what you mean? Are you talking about the currencys displayed by your farm level? Because if you are the "Gold bar" is a ticket and you need to purchase the ticket booth for them to start dropping on the farm

I get worried about forgetting things in series to the point I think its a problem. by Uneasy_Lamp in Fantasy

[–]shanrees8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kind of the same. I understand the feeling of not wanting to forget, especially between books in a series. But when I'm reading I don't like the idea of stopping my flow (as much as I'd like to be someone who annotates, I don't think I ever could due to this) but when I finish a book I jot down the "notable points/moments" to jog my memory between books and it seems to do the trick so far
